6:00pm to 7:00pm GPS Swim Team Dinner (Blazer Dress) Senior School Assembly Hall Boys, and one parent/guardian, are invited to attend the GPS Swim Team Dinner on Thursday evening, 6 March. Please confirm your attendance via the below Online Form by 9:00am Monday, 3 March: GPS Swim Team Dinner Online RSVP FRIDAY, 7 MARCH 2025 Dress: All team members must arrive at School in their TGS swimming team uniform. Your team uniform will be provided to you at the team photo on Thursday, 6 March at lunch time. DO NOT wear thongs/slides. Covered footwear only. TGS swimmers and TGS cap must be worn when competing. Times: 8:30am to 9:20am Team Meeting TGS Aquatic Centre 9:25am Tunnel to Bus Old Hall to Bus Loop TGS Swim Team to perform School War Cry 9:45am Swimmers’ bus departs Bus Loop 11:45am Arrive Chandler Brisbane Aquatic Centre 11:50am TGS & GT Swim Team Photo Grassed area in front of Brisbane Aquatic Centre Entrance 1:00pm First Event (towels to pool deck only - no bags) 3:30pm Last Event 3:40pm Presentations 4:00pm Depart Brisbane 6:00pm Swimmers’ bus returns to TGS Bus Loop Meals: • Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided for ALL swimmers. Event Notes: • Competitors must remain in their lanes at the end of a race until told to leave the water. • Touch the pads once only. • Competitors must leave the pool via the side, not over the end as this will damage the touch pads. Presentations: Swim Captains are to wear blazers for presentations. Parents/Guardians: • TGS has been allocated wristbands for parent spectators. Swim team members will be provided with wristbands to pass on to their parents/guardians. • Further information will be emailed to parents/guardians next week. Important Notes: • All swimmers must make contact with their teacher prior to the day for all class work and homework requirements. • Make sure you have TGS togs. • Please pack snacks and fluids to get through the day.
