The Elms – A 44-bed hostel providing emergency and short-term accommodation to single, homeless adults. Crash Pad – Emergency overnight accommodation offered to people when we are unable to accommodate them immediately at The Elms. Move On – Providing support for The Elms residents into more independent living in shared accommodation. Resettlement – Supporting clients moving from The Elms or Move On into council, social housing, or private rental. Foodbank – Providing emergency food parcels and household provisions to local individuals and families. In the Community – Supporting people in the community during this cost-of-living crisis and helping reduce the need to visit our Foodbank. Social Enterprises – Developing employability skills and self-confidence in a supportive environment, while also raising income.

Visiting Club History:

NEW BEGINNINGS On June 1st 2020, the club was formed when Milton Keynes Robins, Unite MK and Milton Keynes Irish Veterans joined together to operate as one club going into the 202021 season, Milton Keynes Irish FC - the first team playing at Step 6 in the Spartan South Midlands Division One, the newly formed reserve team playing in the UCL Reserve Division and the Veterans playing in the Veterans League Division One. FLYING START AND PROMOTION Our first season as a club was unfortunately brought to an early finish due to the effects of COVID-19. The 2020-21 season was looking to be very promising as we found ourselves sitting second in the table after 9 games played with the best PPG in the league and went on an exciting run in the FA Vase which saw us get knocked out in the 3rd round on penalties after advancing through 4 rounds beating three higher league opposition. The season was officially curtailed however due to performances under Milton Keynes Robins, the club earned promotion to the

Spartan South Midlands Premier Division (Step 5) based on PPG over the previous 2 seasons. IRISH YOUTH & UHLSPORT UCL In 2021-22 the club saw the beginning of MK Irish Youth, our own Youth setup, by joining with MK College and Scot FC which featured 8 teams between Under 7’s to Under 18’s. After a steady first season at Step 5 and the club earning a mid-table place, we were moved to the Uhlsport UCL Premier South for what would only be a short stay. The club would only feature for one season before moving back to the Spartan South Midlands along with our Reserve Team to play in the Premier Division and Division 2. BACK TO THE SPARTAN AND PROMOTION Back in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division for 2023-24, the club enjoyed what was an exciting season. The First Team finished 2nd in the league setting and reached the First Qualifying Round in the FA Cup for the first time in our history. Ultimately, the boys fell short of the league leaders and then lost in the playoffs ending our hopes of promotion for the season. 2024-25 saw the first team reaching the First Qualifying Round in the FA Cup again narrowly losing to a Step 3 side and winning the Premier Division in March, in the leagues record time, earning promotion to Step 4 and the Pitching In Southern League Division 1 Centra

Kyle Boyce (Midfielder) Kyle joined the club last season from Leighton Town after trials at Cambridge City and MK Dons. Harry Guess (Midfielder) Harry came to the club on work experience February 2025 and signed full time preseason from Northampton Town U18s. Moved to USA on scholarship Jan 26. Ben Shepherd (Midfielder) Having scored 2 goals in the FA Vase final at Wembley in 2022, Ben joined the club from Newport Pagnell Town last season. Nathan Smith (Midfielder) Nathan joined the club in 2021 after a trial with MK Dons in his youth. Ryan Smith (Midfielder) A 2022 signing, Ryan was at Northampton Town academy before a short spell at Hitchin Town. Owen Brooks (Forward) A new signing this preseason from Northampton ON Chenecks. Was at Northampton Town academy. Kelvin Osei-Addo (Forward) Joined club last season. Once U21 player at QPR and U18 player at MK Dons. James (JJ) Meadows (Forward) Top scorer of the club last season after joining the club from Newport Pagnell Town U18s and MK Dons academy. Harry Coleman (Forward) Harry was top scorer for the reserve team last season coming through from U18s. Leverstock Green 2 vs 0 Flackwell Heath Leverstock Green moved closer to safety with three more crucial points from Saturday’s Division One Central fixture against Flackwell Heath. The win takes them to 40 points, one more than last season’s final points total with six games remaining. The visitors made the stronger start to the game, with striker Jack Shakespeare being denied twice early on, firstly by a save from Ashton Broome-Alexander in the 6th minute, and again by a goalline clearance from Olusegun Adedipe in the 13th minute. However, it was Leverstock that took the lead in the 18th minute from their first real attack of the game. Nat Connolly had the ball in a threatening position 30 yards out and played it wide to RaduMihai Stefanoaica, and when Stefanoaica beat his man and crossed from the bye-line, Connolly had continued his run into the six-yard box to meet the cross with a shot that slipped under the body of keeper Henry Upstell. It was only Connolly’s second goal for the club in 122 appearances. Leverstock had their tails up now and should have had the game put away by half time. In the 28th minute a pass from Carmicheal Uchenna put Iker Noguera Leon through on goal, but Leon’s chip over Upstell went wide of the target. Within a minute a pass from Stefanoaica put Leon in again with an even better chance, and his low shot beat Upstell but again went just wide. In the 35th minute Jeffrey Sekyere went on a solo run into the box which took him clean through against Upstell, but again his shot went wide of the same post. The lead was still a single goal as the second half started, but Flackwell had a chance to level in the 50th minute when a pass

found Shakespeare with space to shoot, but Broome-Alexander pulled off a great save to keep the shot out with his right leg. For much of the second half Leverstock were pinned in their own half, and Flackwell went close again in the 74th minute when a header from Larry Kagwa went just wide. A second goal was needed, and it finally arrived in the 88th minute. Substitutes Jack Allen and Joe McCarthy were both involved as the ball was cleared upfield. McCarthy and Marcus Warren both tried to carve out shooting chances on the edge of the box, but eventually the ball went to Sekyere, whose shot was parried by Upstell. Allen’s effort from the rebound was also saved, but at the second attempt Allen forced the ball home to ensure that Leverstock would be taking all the points. Beaconsfield Town 0 vs 2 Leverstock Green Back-to-back 2-0 wins have taken Leverstock Green to the brink of confirming safety in the Southern League Division One Central for a second season. It was another excellent performance by the Leverstock side to take all three points away from Beaconsfield Town, completing a league double over the Rams, and like last week’s win against Flackwell Heath, the win was confirmed by a late goal from Jack Allen. Leverstock could have taken the lead in the 2nd minute as a flick from Jeffrey Sekyere put Iker Noguera Leon through on goal, but after cutting back inside, Leon’s eventual shot went wide. However, in the 8th minute Leon was set free down the left wing and delivered a superb cross which found Sekyere in space inside the box, and Leverstock’s top scorer brought the ball down and shot home to put his side into a 1-0 lead. Leverstock had chances to add further goals before the break. In the 19th minute Carmicheal Uchenna broke away from a Beaconsfield corner, carrying the ball from deep in his own half into the opposition penalty area. He had the opportunity to lay the ball off but opted to go it alone and his eventual shot drifted just wide. Four minutes later Uchenna pulled the ball back from the bye-line to set up a chance for Ryan Carruthers, but his shot went over the bar. Four minutes before the break Leon went on a solo run but hit his shot just over the bar. There was another chance early in the second half as Radu-Mihai Stefanoaica went on a run which took him into the box. His shot was blocked and ran across goal into the path of Leon, who only had the keeper to beat but pulled his shot agonisingly wide. Celebrating its 16th year in existence, the initiative, started 2010 by Queens Park Rangers fan James Doe, took full advantage of the international break by welcoming supporters of Premier League and EFL clubs through their doors as the Non-League football took centre stage on the fixture calendar. It proved a day to remember also for 60-year-old retired school teacher Danny Burkey, who was chosen to lead his local team, Ossett United, for a crucial game from the manager’s dugout. Superfan Danny was named as assistant manager for the day as the Sheepicorns hosted Grimsby Borough in a crunch relegation six-pointer in NPL East. Diagnosed with incurable prostate cancer in June 2021, Burkey had planned to attend the match, together with friends and family, to raise funds and awareness for Prostate Cancer UK. But upon learning of his story, Ossett decided to centre the day around him. Burkey was introduced to the players by manager James Walshaw during a rain-swept training session on Tuesday night and presented with a

personalised branded bench-coat, plus a match shirt emblazoned with ‘Burkey 45’ - the 45 to highlight how one man dies every 45 minutes from the disease. Non-League Day now attracts strong and widespread support from the FA, Premier League and Football League clubs to MPs, media organisations, charities, and Non-League teams across the country. But alarming figures from a survey conducted by sports media brand LiveScore actually reveal low awareness of local clubs, and divided views on the 3pm blackout. The fans’ survey, capturing perspectives from fans of professional clubs, Non-League fans, and those who follow both, showed that just 23% of Non-League fans care about the outcome of a game – demonstrating that it’s not just about winning, but the full experience of following your team and love of the game. The report also reveals a visibility gap - 55% of professional football club fans say they’d be open to attending Non-League games, but four in ten can’t name their local Non-League club. Additionally, fans across both the professional and Non-League game doubt the relevance of the 3pm blackout, with just 27% of professional club fans feeling the 3pm blackout protects Non-League attendances, reopening the age-old debate of its usefulness in the modern game. The findings shine a light on what draws fans to Non-League football, the barriers that still exist, and the opportunities to strengthen its appeal. They underline the importance of preserving the fan experience at all levels, while reinforcing the unique role Non-League clubs play in sustaining the spirit and community of the game. In an era shaped by shifting priorities in the professional game, NonLeague Day serves as a timely reminder of football’s roots and the vital role supporters play at every level

The story of Nat Connolly’s rise through the levels to go on to make 100 appearances for Leverstock Green is inspiring. The all-action midfield general had racked up over a century of appearances for Totternhoe at Step 7 by the age of 21 to earn his chance with Green in the summer of 2023. His determined displays in the engine room of the side helped the club secure promotion into the Southern League where Connolly has thrived over the past 14 months. “I remember joining the club and worrying that the jump in level would be too much for me,” he admitted to us. “I’d previously

played all of my football at Step 7, so I didn’t know if I would be able to get to grips with Step 5. “I joined the club not knowing anyone and feeling that I had a lot to prove, but I was made to feel welcome by everyone straight away and that really helped me to hit the ground running. “With the help and support of those around me, I knuckled down, worked hard and that first season was really memorable as we secured promotion into the Southern League. “Then the question is can I do it at Step 4? Last season we managed to achieve our objective of staying at this level and I was pleased with the way in which I adapted to the added demands of this level. “To have reached 100 appearances in just under two and-a-half seasons means a lot. I am proud to have established myself in the team and I’m really enjoying my football amongst some great people.” Saturday’s 100th game saw Connolly put in an energetic display in a 1-1 draw at Northwood. “I felt that I played well,” he added. “I try and base my game on energy and I made sure that I kept the levels high. I tried to get forward a bit more and almost nicked a goal at one point. “We weren’t happy with our first half performance, but we managed to get a grip of things after the break and deservedly equalised. Sadly, it was too little too late in terms of being able to find a winner and we had to be content with a point in the end. “We know that we need to start turning some of our draws into wins in order to start climbing the table.

“There have already been a few surprise results this season throughout the division; it’s clear that everyone is capable of beating each other and it’s going to be very competitive once more. “First and foremost our main aim is to survive, but I believe that we can achieve more and there is no reason why we can't improve upon last season’s finishing position. We’ve got a season’s experience under our belt now and we know that we have to pick up as many points as we can early on to give us a base to build on for the second half of the season. “We seem to perform well against the better teams, but it’s the games against those teams around us where we need to start picking up more points. “In terms of personal targets, I just want to keep enjoying my football and continue to play regularly.” A home game against high-flying Ware is next up for Connolly and his team-mates at the weekend.
