Vice Chairman's Review There has been much change at the club off the field in the last 18 months, it is worth giving an update on what has changed and some plans for the this year. Covid Covid was a big issue for all football clubs and we were not alone in this respect. We implemented all the restrictions that were requested by the FA and Government. It was very pleasing to say people were very understanding of the situation. The up side to this we received a number of grants to help us through the pandemic. The FA grants were for Covid implementation, pitch maintenance, and start up. Using the grants, we bought a number of items, which included Covid signs, masks, gloves etc., also a gazebo for signing in and green chairs for the dugouts. The DBC/Government grants were used to purchase new equipment, car park lighting, and outside lighting for the clubhouse. We also installed new Wi-Fi, new TV’s and dance floor, all in the clubhouse. Projects We also finished off the kitchen project, installing new cupboards, extractor fan, two new taps, and additional shelving. Unfortunately, both water pumps, that supply hot water to the dressing rooms and kitchen, failed; both were replaced within a week of each breakdown, the cost was around £2000. Our next major project will be a new metal garage to store all of our ground equipment. We needed planning permission for this, which took quite some time and delayed the start until April 2022. It will be secure, and with lighting installed for safe operating by the Grounds Team. The guttering along the whole length of the Clubhouse and changing rooms has been reviewed and changes made to improve drainage from both roofs. The Officers are now looking at what is required to get a higher ground grading that would enable us to gain promotion. This would include additional seating and standing areas, outside toilets, turnstiles and fencing. A lot of work, but it can be completed in stages. Ground The floodlights have passed their bi-yearly lux test; we will review and consult with the lighting contractors to determine the best options if they need to be replaced. An expected cost is around £70,000. Our Landlords, Homes England will grant us a new 25-year lease on the ground commencing April 2022. Clubhouse Management We now have a dedicated clubhouse cleaner responsible for all of the toilets in the clubhouse and dressing rooms as well as the normal cleaning requirements. Apart from cleaning, any faults are quickly reported and fixed, leaks in the toilets and faulty handles being good examples. Our Clubhouse staff is made up of: Sue, Michelle and Emma for bookings and staffing the bar, Kerry for cleaning, Ioana and Nigel for the Tea Bar. THE INANE RAMBLINGS FROM UP NORFF ‘NOWT SO QUEER AS YORKSHIRE FOLK’ BY KAREN BROWNE Monday 3rd January

PREMIER DIVISION Table toppers Risborough Rangers were made to work hard to break down a stubborn Tring Athletic defence before securing a three points thanks to a solitary second half goal while Hadley drew level with Leighton Town in second place with a 2-0 success at Harpenden Town to leave them ten points behind the leaders. At the bottom there were big wins for both Crawley Green and Holmer Green in their battle to avoid the drop, Crawley bottom at the start of play beat Baldock Town the side immediately above them 42 to swop places while Holmer won 2-1 at high flying Leverstock Green. Plenty of goals at Ardley United as the hosts defeated Milton Keynes Irish 5-3 with debutant Joshua Tooke netting four while the everimproving Flackwell Heath won 5-1 at Harefield United to climb to eighth in the standings. Elsewhere Oxhey Jets were 2-0 winners at Broadfields United while in the days other action Dunstable Town and Arlesey Town battled out a 2-2 draw at Creasey Park in front of a large crowd. DIVISION ONE The day’s biggest crowd was at the Division One fixture involving table topping Stotfold and third placed Ampthill Town and the 404 in attendance were treated to a hard fought competitive game that saw everyone go home happy following a 1-1 draw. Second placed Winslow United moved to within four points of the leaders as they enjoyed a 6-0 success at Kidlington Reserves. The chasing pack at the top saw Northampton Sileby Rangers climb to fourth with a 3-1 win at bottom club Irchester United while Wellingborough Whitworth move into fifth spot after winning 2-1 at struggling Burton Park Wanderers. Buckingham Athletic beat visiting Long Crendon by a solitary goal and more on this one can be found later in the ramblings. Elsewhere there were plenty of goals as Rushden & Higham United thumped Raunds Town 8-1 while Shefford Town & Campton enjoyed a 5-0 success at neighbours Langford. The day’s other action saw Amersham Town come from behind at the interval to draw 1-1 with visiting Penn & Tylers Green. Full results and goalscorers are listed below. DIVISION TWO Old Bradwell United opened up a two-point gap at the top with a 5-0 win against visiting Codicote while fellow joint morning leaders Eynesbury United were held to a goalless draw at home by Milton Keynes College Football Academy. At the other end of the table Sarratt enjoyed a 5-1 success at Buckingham United to climb three places while bottom club Tring Corinthians AFC picked up a useful point following a 11 draw at New Bradwell St Peter. The days other action saw Aston Clinton edge out visiting Risborough Rangers Development by the odd goal in three. Full results and goalscorers (where known) are listed below. COMMITTEE AWAY DAYS Bob Flight was at Buckingham Athletic on Monday and sends the following report: - New Year bank holiday Monday saw Buckingham Athletic entertain Long Crendon in a division one fixture. Before the kick off, League Official John Chidley presented Long Crendon with their November team of the Month Award. But this was as good as it got for the visitors as they narrowly lost out by a single goal to Athletic. The pitch was very heavy and not conducive to playing pretty football and passing the ball out from the back. However, Athletic adapted far better to the conditions with their no nonsense approach to

the game. But Long Crendon held the balance of play in the first half and an early shot just went wide of the home goal. But the only goal of the half, and indeed the match, came from Buckingham when following a left wing corner, which Long Crendon failed to properly clear, allowed Carl Tappin to shoot the ball through a sea of legs and into the corner of the visitors net on 23 minutes. Just before half time, Buckingham thought that had scored again but this was correctly ruled out for offside. The second half was more of an even contest and Long Crendon were unlucky to first see a deflected shot hit the outside of the Athletic post and from the resulting corner another effort kicked off the home goal line. However, despite a succession of corners, they failed to trouble Nick Bennion in the home goal. Athletic always looked dangerous on the break and Long Crendon had to thank their keeper Josh Cullen for a last ditch tackle to deny Athletic a second goal. The visitor frustrations grew as first they could make no impression on the home defence and secondly they had a couple of penalty appeals turned down by the match officials. As the game drew to a close, a Long Crendon player was fortunate only to see a yellow card for a wild challenge on Tolu Ikuyinminu and in the final few minutes they were reduced to ten men as another Long Crendon player was sent to the sin bin. In general, a draw would have been a fairer result but Athletic deserved they win for their strong application in difficult conditions throughout the match. The result sees Buckingham leap frog Long Crendon in the league table. Saturday 8th January GLADWISH CHALLENGE TROPHY Second Round Division Two side Milton Keynes College Football Academy pulled off a giant killing act as they knocked out Division One side Rushden & Higham United, the hosts winning 4-0 to set up a Third Round tie at home against Wellingborough Whitworth. PREMIER DIVISION Only three Premier Division games beat the moisture in the air with New Salamis moving up to second place following their 3-2 home success against Flackwell Heath, the winner coming from the spot in the 89th minute. Baldock Town climbed off the bottom of the table as they finally picked up their first points at home in the league this campaign with a 4-1 win over London Colney. Elsewhere Ardley United saw off the challenge of visiting Leverstock Green, the hosts winning 3-1. Full results and goalscorers (where known) are listed below. DIVISION ONE With the weather hitting hard just three Division One fixtures survived, Wellingborough Whitworth moved up to third place thanks to a 4-0 home success against sixth placed Buckingham Athletic while at the other end of the standings Amersham Town picked up three useful points in their quest to avoid the drop as they overcame visiting Langford by the odd goal in five. PREMIER DIVISION To quote that famous Roy Orbison song “It’s Over” yes Risborough Rangers have finally met their ‘Waterloo’ as their long unbeaten league run which began after their defeat at Winslow United on the 9th April 2019 was brought to a close on Saturday at Ardley United where a first half goal from Mason Courtney for the hosts sounded the death knell. With one record ending another is edging closely to being equalled as Hadley’s 9th successive league win on Saturday 4-0 at home against Holmer Green is just one short of equally their best at Step 5 (set in 2018 however the club record at any league level for them is 11 at Step 7). Milton Keynes Irish ended their winless run of 7 games with a 2-1 success at Broadfields United while Leverstock Green (5th) won 2-0 at Harpenden Town (6th) to put some clear daylight between the clubs in the table. At the other end of the standings the bottom two both suffered home defeats, bottom club Crawley Green just failed to claw back a 1-4 half time deficit, going down by the odd goal in nine against visiting Oxhey Jets while a goal on the stroke of half time was enough for Harefield United to defeat hosts Tring Athletic. Elsewhere the other three games all resulted a 1-1 draws, Aylesbury Vale Dynamos v Dunstable Town, Flackwell Heath v Baldock Town and Leighton Town v Arlesey Town. DIVISION ONE No change at the top of the table with leaders Stotfold running out 4-1 winners at neighbours Bedford to extend their lead at the top to seven points as second placed Winslow United welcomed third placed Ampthill Town in the day’s big game and a report on this one can be found later in these ramblings. Elsewhere there were plenty of goals to keep the fans happy, Northampton Sileby Rangers hit struggling Burton Park Wanderers for eight as the hosts cruised to a 8-3 win while Long Crendon netted seven on their travels with a 7-1 success at Raunds Town. There was a nine goal thriller at Penn & Tylers Green where visiting Shefford Town & Campton came out on top 5-4 while the day’s other action saw Amersham Town climb out of the bottom three following a 2-2 draw at Letchworth Garden City Eagles. COMMITTEE AWAY DAYS Bob Flight was at Winslow United and sends the following report:- On a misty afternoon in Buckinghamshire, Winslow hosted near neighbours Ampthill Town and the watching crowd of over 120 witnessed an entertaining match. Ampthill were the better team in the first half with Winslow strangely subdued although they did have a couple of chances but wayward finishing failed to trouble the visitor’s goal. The only goal of the half came from Ampthill on 30 minutes when a shot from Jamie Cerminara was only pushed out by the home keeper to Sam Holmes who scored from just 6 yards to put Ampthill in the lead. Indeed they could have scored again but their shot hit the Winslow post and bounced away to safety. Whatever was said to the Winslow players at half time saw an immediate improvement at the start of the second half and they equalised on 51 minutes. The goal had a touch of good fortune about it as the ball rebounded off a couple of defenders before falling nicely to Lewis Workman to score. The watching home crowd expected Winslow to go on and win the game, but this was a forlorn hope. Ampthill looked dangerous on the break and had two big chances to score but each time the player, who was clean through, shot straight at the Winslow keeper. However, the winning goal was not slow in coming and from another breakaway, a right wing cross found Sam Holmes who headed in his and Ampthill’s second goal on 69 minutes. Despite increasing pressure on the visiting team, and a great save by the keeper from a free kick, Winslow were denied a second equalising goal. The final few minutes saw a flurry of yellow cards to both teams and Ampthill saw out the game to collect all three points. The win moves Ampthill into third place in the table whilst Winslow still reside in second spot with games in hand over leaders Stotfold who also won away at Bedford.

Alan Lee Reporting Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division Leverstock Green 1 Holmer Green 2 Monday 3rd January 2022 Leverstock Green’s home form continues to let them down as they followed up last week’s spectacular comeback at Tring with a disappointing defeat to Holmer Green. After taking a deserved lead early in the second half Fergus Moore’s side were unable to build on it and were hit by two late goals from a Holmer Green side that worked very hard throughout. With goalkeeper Alfie Bonfield absent through Covid, under-18s keeper Oscar Frost made his first team debut. In the 2nd minute of the game a long kick from Frost gave Lewis Collins a run at goal, but he couldn’t get a shot away, laying off to Kian Wilkes, whose shot was blocked. Seconds later Ryan Carruthers spotted the keeper off his line and tried a chip from 20 yards, but it bounced off the top of the crossbar. Carruthers had another longrange effort in the 9th minute but it was turned round the post by the keeper. Leverstock were having more of the ball, but often losing it while attempting while attempting to go past defenders on the edge of the box. In the 29th minute Brad Robinson nodded the ball through to put Rawn Seale through on goal, but again keeper Mattao Giacobbe was in the way, saving Seale’s shot. On 35 minutes Kian Wilkes was denied by a goal line clearance from defender Reece McKenzie. Two minutes later Ollie Lawford was brought down just outside the box and took the free kick himself, but again Giacobbe got down low to his left to turn the ball round the post. Having had all the chances in the first half, Leverstock almost went in at half time behind, but Frost pulled off a great save in the last minute of the half to tip over a shot from Kudzai Chunga. Lewis Collins was struggling with an injury, and only lasted a minute of the second half before being replaced by Ethan Mooney. Leverstock again started the half brightly, and finally got their deserved goal in the 49th minute. A through ball from the back was flicked on by Lawford into the path of Seale, who ran clear of the chasing defenders and shot past Giacobbe to open the scoring. The Leverstock side continued to push forward, but were still finding it difficult to create clear-cut chances to press home their advantage. Holmer were starting to threaten on the break, and Frost had to save a closerange header in the 57th minute. On another break in the 74th minute, Holmer won a corner out of nothing. They took full advantage of it as Jamie Mitchell got away from his marker to head home at the near post for the equaliser. Holmer could have gone in front in the 79th minute but Frost pulled off another good save to keep out a shot from Oskar Evans. In the closing minutes of the game it could have gone either way. Scott McGleish flashed a shot just over the bar in the 87th minute, and Lawford had another good chance but couldn’t get a shot away. In the 90th minute it was Holmer that broke away and scored as Jose Daio slotted the ball past Frost. Even in stoppage time Leverstock had a chance to rescue a point as Lawford got on the end of Mooney’s cross, but his header was saved again by Giacobbe. That proved enough for Holmer to take three crucial points in their battle against relegation and leave Leverstock five points adrift of the top four. Leverstock Green (0) 1 (Seale 49) Team: 1. Alan Lee Reporting Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division Ardley United 3 - Leverstock Green 1 Saturday 8th January 2022 Leverstock Green’s stuttering start to 2022 continued as they lost their second straight match. Saturday’s SSML Premier Division fixture at Ardley United was played in very difficult conditions, with the already heavy pitch made even worse by another downpour an hour before kick off, and with two penalty decisions going against them Fergus Moore’s side certainly didn’t get the rub of the green in this game. There was a welcome return from injury for both Elgeniy Daalberg and Paplamin Jawara, with the former starting the game. The early stages of the game were dominated by the home side, playing down their considerable slope, but Alfie Bonfield was on hand to keep out Declan Benjamin’s shot in the second minute, and a free kick from Morgan Williams in the 9th minute. A through ball in the 18th minute gave Rawn Seale the glimpse of a chance as he burst between two defenders, but couldn’t get proper contact on his shot. The game was largely scrappy for the remainder of the half, with little goalmouth action at either end, but just when it looked as though Leverstock would get to half time on level terms, they were on the wrong end of a harsh penalty decision. Ollie Cox was penalised for handball while running away from goal and with the ball kicked straight at him. Even so, it looked as though Leverstock had got away with it when Bonfield saved Liam Talboys’ spot kick, but Talboys was quickest off the mark to get to the rebound and stick the ball away at the second attempt. Leverstock had the slope in their favour in the second half, but were still struggling to find the final ball to create a clear chance. Shortly after the introduction of Jawara in the 59th minute, they finally made a breakthrough, although with some controversy. Seale chased a through pass and got to it at the same time as keeper Freddie Lapworth, and managed to toe-poke the ball through Lapworth’s legs. Kian Wilkes followed in to slot the ball into the empty net. Lapworth felt that the ball had been in his hands before Seale got his boot on it, but the referee allowed the goal to stand and the scores were level at 1-1. There should have been a second Green goal in the 65th minute. Daalberg made a great run down the left and delivered the ball into the box for Seale, who made good contact with his shot but hit it wide. In the 73rd minute there was another chance when a pass from James Hall put the speedy Daalberg clean through, but Lapworth came off his line and dived at Daalberg’s feet to claim the ball. Leverstock were looking the better side at this stage, but were hit by another penalty decision in the 76th minute, this one a foul challenge which was flagged for by the linesman rather then being spotted by the referee. After consulting the linesman, the referee awarded the spot kick and Josh Tooke made no mistake to put Ardley back in front at 2-1. The Green side pushed everything forward in at attempt to get back into the game, but in doing so left themselves exposed at the back. Ardley had missed two very good chances to extend their lead just before Tooke converted a cross from the right in the 88th minute to finally put the seal on their win. Alan Lee Reporting Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division Harpenden Town 0 - Leverstock Green 2 Saturday 15th January 2022 After starting 2022 with two defeats, Leverstock Green got back to winning ways with a very impressive performance against the side immediately below them in the SSML Premier Division table. Fergus Moore’s side dominated the game with some tidy attacking football and had the chances to have made this a much more comfortable win. Leverstock started the game strongly, with Ollie Cox having their first effort on goal in the 4th minute, going just wide of the post. Cox had another couple of efforts off target in the early stages, before the Green side took a deserved lead in the 23rd minute. Rawn Seale battled his way to the bye-line and pulled the ball back for Elgeniy Daalberg, who controlled it before placing an angled shot into the corner of the net. The home side produced little in the first half, with only a deflected shot from Mulik Rickman in the 31st minute causing Alfie Bonfield any concerns. Leverstock then had a series of chances to pad their lead before the break. On 34 minutes Dan Pett had a chance to shoot, but laid off to Rio Beach, whose shot was blocked on the line, as was a rebound effort from Daalberg. Two minutes later Cox pounced on some hesitant defending to win the ball and put over a great cross for Seale to run onto, but Seale’s shot went just over the bar. In the 41st minute Seale ran onto a pass from man-of-thematch Kian Wilkes and slipped the ball over the keeper, but there wasn’t quite enough strength on it and a defender got back to clear off the line. Leverstock took just a one-goal lead into the break, and in the early stages it was Harpenden who started to put more pressure on. However, they made little headway against a determined Green defence, and Bonfield only had to make a save in the 55th minute to turn a shot wide at the near post. Leverstock continued to look dangerous going forward, with Beach being denied in the 61st minute when his shot was turned round the post by keeper Alex Desmond. There was another chance for a second goal in the 73rd minute as Seale made a great solo run into the box, but his eventual shot was hit straight at Desmond. However, a minute later Daalberg played in a ball from the left which found Seale on the edge of the box. Seale controlled the ball with a great first touch, sidestepped a defender, and then side footed a shot into the corner of the net to finally give his side a two-goal lead. Harpenden had another period of pressure following the second goal, with an effort, which went only inches wide of the goal, and a good save from Bonfield to prevent an own goal from skipper Dan Weeks. Harpenden pressed strongly again over the closing minutes, winning a series of corners, but the Green side were in no mood to give up their clean sheet, and held out for a very much deserved win. Aylesbury Vale Dynamos FC History Aylesbury Vale Dynamos is an amalgamation of Aylesbury FC and Bedgrove Dynamos, two local clubs with a rich history in local football. Aylesbury FC enjoyed a long history in senior and junior football dating back to the 1930’s under the previous names of Aylesbury Vale, Haywood United, Belgrave, Stocklake and Negretti and Zambra FC, which was founded in the 1930’s by workers at the Negretti and Zambra company then based in London’s King Cross district. The company moved to the Stocklake Industrial Estate, Aylesbury. In 1949 and by the mid 50’s the premises had a bar, football, cricket and tennis facilities. The football club joined the Aylesbury District League in 1954. The social club changed its name to Stocklake when Negretti and Zambra sold the premises to the local council, who then leased the facilities; hence the different sections adopted the name Stocklake. Under the guidance of Chairman Mr. Ernie Crotty, the club gained many honours including runners up in ADL’s top divisions, before gaining intermediate status in the Wycombe and District League first and senior divisions. Sadly Ernie was killed in a road accident just before the club moved premises to the present location at Haywood Way in 1987. After gaining senior status and promotion to the Chiltern League in 1988, Stocklake enjoyed many further successes including Division One runners up in 1991, Premier Division and League Cup runners up the following season and Wycombe Senior Cup success in 1995. Cup success was also followed on in the following season, this time the Berks and Bucks Intermediate Cup being added to the trophy cabinet. Belgrave FC was formed in 1983 by Jim Sullivan who lived in nearby Belgrave Road. Jim had two sons who were passionate about football but were limited to where they could play, so formed a team himself with the help of neighbours Lynne and David Hatcher. By 1990, under the guidance of Danny Martone, Belgrave had grown to five youth teams providing football for over ninety boys from the Quarrendon and Haydon Hill areas of Aylesbury. 1996 saw the forming of two senior teams under the Belgrave FC name and by the turn of the millennium teams were represented at all levels from Under 8’s through to seniors, At the start of the 2000/2001 season, the senior Belgrave FC team was renamed Haywood United following an amalgamation with Stocklake FC with Danny Martone voted in as chairman of the new club. Haywood United joined the Spartan South Midlands League and won promotion into Division One after two seasons. Notable achievements during the 2001/2002 season included league awards for the best kept and most improved ground; this included the erection of floodlights and perimeter fencing, which Danny and his hard working committee fought hard to establish. Season 2002/2003 saw a difficult start in Division One, but with the arrival of manager Jon Franklin and his assistant Keith Walker just after Christmas, the club eventually consolidated finishing in 9th place. Promotion was gained to the South Midlands Premier Division the following year after a campaign that saw 23 wins, 7 draws and only 4 losses. Haywood United proved themselves capable of staying in the Premier Division after finishing 3rd in the 2004/2005 season in a campaign that only include one loss in the twenty matches after Christmas. The club also entered the FA Cup and Vase for the first time and won the Buckingham Charity Cup in 2006. Season 2006/2007 began with Haywood United becoming Aylesbury Vale FC and saw Keith Walker and Steve Gleinster take over as joint managers and steadily build a squad. This was recognised in the 2008/2009 season, under the management of Mark Eaton, with a good cup run in the FA Cup and FA Vase, winning three rounds in the FA Cup losing to Level 4 side Gosport after a replay, and losing out in the 4th round of the FA Vase to Leiston Town. . After Christmas the side suffered due to long-term injuries and finished mid table. May 2009 saw a major new development in a new semi professional side vote for a name change. Aylesbury Football Club was formed

under the leadership of Chairman Roger Dance and assisted by Vice Chairman Danny Martone Former Chairman Bill Harrison was made President of the club. Great success on the field of play was to follow, with the team having a fantastic run in the F.A. Cup. We were the last 'level five' team in the country to remain in the competition and were rewarded with a visit to Haywood Way for the F.A. Cup trophy, allowing the team, supporters and local people to get their hands on this famous trophy and make the most of this memorable occasion. We were finally knocked out of the competition by Wealdstone in a close game. A brave and superb display was witnessed by a bumper crowd of 800 plus. Meanwhile, away from the midst of F.A. Cup drama, our success continued, becoming 'Double Winners' Winning both the Spartan South Midland League and League Cup capping an extraordinary season and gaining promotion to the Southern League Division 1 Central. Steve Bateman took over in 2013/14, steered the club to safety in his first 6 months in charge. Then in 2014/15 with Bateman at the helm FC has their most successful season to date most successful to date. Playing at the highest level in the club’s history, the team finished third in the League, having been pushing for promotion all season and narrowly lost out in the semi final to Bedworth United having already beaten them twice in the league. The 2015/16 finished with a flourish as the club finished just outside the play off positions, but had the consolation of our first major Cup Final, beating Chesham United in the Berks & Bucks Cup at Windsor. Steve Bateman and his management team resigned at the end of the season and Danny Gordon & Gareth Risbridger took the helm, supported by Paul Bonham, Ryan Wiffin & Aaron Norman. Davis Haule took over from Gordon & Risbridger in December 2016, appointed brother Brian as his assistant and recruited former coaches Fraser McLachlan, Aaron Wiffin and added Ryan Collings to his back room staff for the 2017/18 season. In 2018/19 Scott Reynolds was appointed manager and when he resigned midway through the season it was left to Paul Bonham to take control but because of ground grading issues the Southern League made the decision to relegate the club and so after ten seasons in the Southern League. Phil Granville and Ben Gill were appointed midway through last season and will kick off the 2020/21 season again in the Spartan Premier Division. Steve Bateman was re appointed as manager in September 2021. Bedgrove Dynamos Alf Buckland, a resident of Finmere Crescent, formed Bedgrove Dynamos in 1968. It was created to fill a void in activities for boys within the Bedgrove area on the south side of Aylesbury. In 1980, Dave Bayliss became involved when he brought his Cub side to the Bedgrove Park. The teams amalgamated and Dave went on to be the chairman for 21 years, stepping down in the year 2000. Within two years and barely a full strip between them, they managed not only to win the Under 12's Aylesbury & District League (ADL), but went on to win the 13's & 14's league in consecutive years and, by which time, they now had four teams at various age groups. Over the years the club has grown and has won many tournaments and trophies, especially at county level. Many teams have toured abroad and the club has also entertained boys from Europe and America. We can boost that we are the only boys club to have a club pennant on display in Barcelona's trophy room. At the start of the season 2001/02 the club was the largest junior club in the Aylesbury area, running teams from under 8's through to under 18's. At the end of the season 2001/02 the club managed to win the coveted Berks and Bucks Cup at under 14's, the Mayor's Cup at under 12's, represented in two other cup finals, won 3 league titles, gained 6 promotions in total and all teams finished in the top 6 to the fair play awards for their respective leagues. In the last 20 seasons across the age groups the club has won 25 divisional titles, and runners up 20 times. In 2019 two became one when the sides amalgamated with the intention of allowing the youth of the town to progress through junior football to youth and then adult football and play at the highest possible level.
