Tony Nelson

Real estate developer and entrepreneur, Tony Nelson Jacksonville has dedicated his career to creating community-focused projects that drive both economic growth and social progress. His flagship project, Moncrief Plaza Shopping Center, helped revitalize a neglected neighborhood while supporting local businesses. Through Re-Entry Housing of Jacksonville, Tony provides affordable homes to over 100 formerly incarcerated individuals—one of the largest programs of its kind in partnership with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. He also serves on several key boards, including Save Historic American Beach and the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission. With a degree in Public Administration from Florida A&M University, Tony combines strategic planning with civic purpose. His work redefines development as a force for inclusion, empowerment, and neighborhood healing.
