I’m writing to you with a grateful heart following Regal’s incredible Christmas pantomime season, with Dick Whittington here in St Helens and Cinderella at The Epstein Theatre. We are so proud that over 50,000 people experienced a Regal pantomime this Christmas.
Speaking of pantomime, February half term sees Jack and the Beanstalk take to the stage. For Easter, our record-breaking Snow White returns by popular demand. And, exclusively revealed in this brochure, our Christmas 2026/27 pantomime will be The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan – a brand new version and script of a title we haven’t produced at Christmas for seven years.
Alongside our in-house productions, we’re delighted to welcome Merseyside favourite Tim Lucas with his one-man show We’re Havin’ A Party, plus world-class tributes celebrating the music of Meat Loaf, ABBA, Michael Jackson and Tina Turner, as well as the high-energy phenomenon K-Pop Demon Hunters.
For our younger audiences, we’re thrilled to present Peppa Pig, The Dinosaur That Pooped and Dinosaur Adventure Live.
St Helens Theatre Royal is a rare and special venue. We are proudly family-owned and operated, not part of a large corporate chain. Family, community and passion sit at the heart of everything we do. It is only through your continued support that we can bring the very best entertainment to Merseyside for generations to come.
That support is never taken for granted. Thank you for choosing to spend your time with us. We can’t wait to share all the magic we have in store for 2026.
Chantelle Joseph Theatre Manager

Our summer production is rehearsed weekly during the regular Saturday sessions. In August, children are invited to participate in a week-long intensive workshop (subject to an additional fee) to finalise preparations and take part in the performance.
