A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO Dear Friends, As the summer begins, I wanted to take a moment to share how grateful I am for your support, and why it is so critical. There are no ‘summer breaks’ from childhood cancer— the needs of Jay Fund families are constant, and on the rise.

Over the past five years, the number of Jay Fund families receiving financial support increased by 41%, and the total financial support provided by the Jay Fund in turn increased by 146% during that same time period, as seen in the infographic on the back page of the newsletter. Your generosity made it possible for us to BE THERE for these families and respond to their increasing needs. Our financial support focuses on covering non-medical expenses such as housing, transportation costs and utility bills—the everyday payments that often pile up after a diagnosis. For example, as food prices have risen, the Jay Fund has stepped in with grocery store gift cards to help families cover their costs and to ensure they can cater to the special diets and changing appetites of their sick child. We have more than doubled the food support we’ve provided to families in the past five years. Because of you, we can remain flexible and responsive to the needs of families, ensuring that we can support them at every stage of their journey. Thank you for making this possible. With gratitude,
