A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO Dear Friends, We launched into 2025 with renewed dedication to bringing resources and hope to families caring for a child with cancer. Our Wine Tasting Gala at EverBank Stadium was an exceptional example of the community coming together to let these families know they are not alone. Thank you for BEing THERE to support families in their most difficult days.

The Jay Fund surveys the families we serve to better understand their needs and find the best ways to support them. While most of us would guess that medical expenses skyrocket with a cancer diagnosis, 72% of families reported that it was also non-medical expenses that added a significant burden to their bottom line. Travel expenses for frequent trips to treatment can cost hundreds of dollars or more per month. Food expenses increase as patients have special nutrition plans. Their tastes also change because of their chemo drugs and parents often have to eat out while at the hospital. The patient’s siblings often require child care during this crisis because parents are at work or caring for their sick child. These are some of the ripple effects that create the financial stress of a pediatric cancer diagnosis. With your help, we ease these financial burdens and give families one less thing to worry about so they can focus on their child. With gratitude,
