Dear Friends and Supporters, I am thrilled to share our recent Celebrity Golf Classic was a tremendous success. Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm, we raised over $800,000 to support families tackling childhood cancer. Thank you. I also want to take a moment to pay tribute to Chris Mortensen. While we continue to mourn his passing, we celebrate his friendship and dedication to our mission over the years. Chris was extremely loyal and compassionate, and he will be missed. At this year’s dinner, we announced our inaugural recipient of the Judy Coughlin Be the Light Award, and I hope you will take a moment to congratulate Helena Gutierrez Richards. Helena’s tireless efforts and heartfelt commitment have profoundly impacted patients with childhood cancer and their families. Her work ensures families
receive the support they need as they face the unthinkable, and her compassion and drive truly embody the spirit of this award. I know Judy is smiling down at all of us. Congratulations, Helena! You may not realize it, but each of you is a light to the patients and families we serve. Our events and programs would not be possible without the extraordinary contributions of our volunteers and our donors. You are the heart and soul of this organization. Your selflessness enables us to continue to provide critical assistance to those in need. Thank you once again for being on our team.
