BOB’S BULLETIN Many of you, if not all of you know Connie Crunk. The Crunkster, or Little Crunk, as we fondly refer to her, has been with Toll Brothers for 30 years. She has had many roles, worked full-time and part-time, and retired twice—but she never seems to actually retire. Recently, Connie experienced a health issue that required her to be hospitalized. Her husband, Mike, had been by her side for several days and understandably needed an opportunity to go home, get some rest, and take care of a few things. That is when Julia Matthews stepped in. Julia has worked with Connie for 20 years, and during that time, they have become close friends. Knowing Mike needed a break and not wanting Connie to be alone, Julia spent the night at the hospital with her. Julia has a full plate with family, work, and all the other demands on her time. So when I heard what she had done, it really stayed with me. One of our core values at Toll Brothers is Take Care of Each Other. We talk about our core values often, but sometimes the best examples of them have nothing to do with selling or building homes. They are found in moments like this, when someone sees that a friend needs help and simply shows up. Julia did not do this because anyone asked her to or because she expected any recognition. She did it because she cares about Connie and Mike. We spend a great deal of our lives at work, and when people work together for as many years as Connie and Julia have, those relationships often become much more than professional. We celebrate milestones together, support one another through difficult times, and, when it truly matters, take care of each other. Julia, thank you for being there for Connie. Your kindness and generosity say a great deal about who you are, and I was very proud to hear what you had done. And Connie, please get well soon. We miss you and look forward to having you back with us when you are ready.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT Marissa O’Brien | Customer Care Manager WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT YOUR JOB? My favorite part about my job is building relationships with our Trade Partners and learning new aspects of construction. DO YOU HAVE ANY PETS? i have two dogs, Max and Scottie. I rescued Max 12 years ago from a Tucson shelter and he still has the energy of a puppy. Scottie was left in our neighborhood as a puppy and she never left! WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WEEKEND ACTIVITY? I love going to local Farmer’s Markets on the weekends and finding ways to support small vendors.
WHAT IS THE MOST MEMORABLE VACATION YOU HAVE TAKEN? When my husband and I stated at the Toll Brothers house in Seattle. We had friends join us for part of the trip, which made it even more fun. We went horseback riding, deep-sea fishing, explored different towns and markets, and tried coffee from pretty much every local coffee shop we passed. AT WHICH STORE WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAX OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD? Brass Armadillo! My dad always had antiques growing up. Since he did interior design work, he always found a way to work them into our home, and there was usually a cool story behind each one. I’m always finding something that reminds me of a friend, family member, or memory.

CHRIS AYRES Chris Ayres, Area Production Manager, retired on July 24th after 12 years with Toll Brothers. Chris wrote, “After a twelve-year run, today is my last day with Toll Brothers. Like many of you, I have worked for other builders in my career. The culture and the atmosphere at Toll is second to none in the industry. It truly is a great place to work. I will miss all of you because it is the people who make Toll special. Thank you for the friendship and the memories.” The team held a retirement party for Chris at the model home at Ladera Trails. Chris’s son and daughter surprised him by attending the party as well. Thank you for twelve amazing years of service, Chris. You will be missed!

The Sterling Grove Providence & Tapestry at Destination teams tied for the top spot for July with a 100% “Recommend TBI to a Friend” score and a 100% Home Complete score. Both reached the minimum threshold 2 surveys to win.
PICKLEBALL FOR A PURPOSE
The Arizona team recently came together for a day of friendly competition, community connection, and meaningful impact at the Pickleball for a Purpose Tournament, supporting HomeAid Phoenix and its Summer Essentials Drive. Our team purchased a sponsorship to participate in the event, knowing that our involvement would go beyond the pickleball court. Proceeds from our sponsorship and participation are helping provide critical summer essentials—including bottled water, sunscreen, cooling towels, lip balm, umbrellas, and other resources—to individuals experiencing homelessness during Arizona’s extreme summer temperatures. With eight participants representing different departments, our team brought together a great mix of personalities and playing experience: Chase Cushing, Bill Gruber, Daniel Benson, Devin Hobbs, Cesar Moran, Manny Martinez, Will Walker, and Ryan DeSanto, with Erick Rimola serving as our alternate. Chase Cushing stepped up as team leader and challenged everyone to come up with a team name. Ryan DeSanto delivered with the winning idea: “Toll Brothers from Other Mothers.” The name was such a hit that the team took it one step further and had custom shirts made for the tournament to represent the team in style. The group featured players at every level, from beginners to intermediate and advanced competitors. Our beginner players, Manny Martinez and Cesar Moran, made an impressive showing, taking second place in the Beginner Division. On the advanced side, Chase Cushing and Bill Gruber battled their way to a strong fourth-place finish. The real win was knowing that our team was helping make a difference in the Phoenix community. The tournament gave coworkers an opportunity to connect, network with industry partners, have some fun, and come together behind a meaningful cause. Congratulations to Team Arizona for supporting HomeAid Phoenix and making a difference both on and off the court!
ANDERSEN PLANT TOUR
The Toll Brothers team was invited to tour the Andersen Windows manufacturing facility in Goodyear, Arizona. During the visit, our team received an inside look at the full manufacturing process, from start to finish, learning how their framing and window systems are produced and the materials that go into each product. The team also had the opportunity to learn more about Fibrex, an innovative material that Andersen has developed and continues to utilize to address and improve challenges identified through years of research, testing, and field experience. We also explored the history of Andersen Windows, which was founded in 1903, and learned about the company's evolution and innovations over more than a century. Fun fact: Andersen has been in business since before the Ottoman Empire dissolved in 1922! The Goodyear facility is one of three Andersen manufacturing plants in the United States and is the company's third-newest location. With additional land already purchased surrounding the current facility, Andersen has plans to expand its Goodyear operations into two additional plots, supporting continued growth in the years ahead. The facility currently ships approximately 13,000 units per day just from the AZ location and anticipates increasing production over the next several years. One of the key takeaways from the tour was Andersen's commitment to continuous improvement. Their teams work closely with brand representatives and field partners to identify opportunities, address challenges, and develop solutions that improve product performance and the customer experience. We are grateful to Andersen Windows for hosting the Toll Brothers team and providing us with this valuable opportunity to better understand their products, manufacturing processes, and commitment to innovation. We look forward to continuing to work together as trusted trade partners.
