Nathan Wallis Visit Next Week We are very excited to announce that Neuroscience Educator and former Tokomairiro High School student Nathan Wallis will be presenting his talk ‘The Developing Brain’ on Wednesday 16th October in our school hall. This talk focuses on giving a quick snapshot of brain development. During the presentation, Nathan will guide the audience through the stages of brain development from childhood to adulthood. He will reveal little tricks to make parenting easier, and help you open up communication with your child in a way that actually encourages them to listen, develop and grow. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! DUE TO THE WEEKENDS WEATHER EVENT THE LAKE TO THE SEA TRAIL RIDE FOR 2024 IS CANCELLED! We regret to inform you that the 21st Tokomairiro High School Lake to Sea Trail Ride, scheduled for 19th October, has been cancelled. Unfortunately, postponing the event is not an option. Much of the farmland and forestry along the trail has been damaged by slips and washouts, and we are unable to guarantee the safety of our riders. We know this is disappointing for everyone who has been working tirelessly behind the scenes. Thank you to all those who offered their support. If you have pre registered, a committee member will be in touch to organise your refund. We’ll see you back bigger and better in 2025!
2024 School Magazine
Orders are now being taken for this year’s school magazine. There will be over 75 pages of photos and stories from throughout the year in full colour—a great momento of the 2024 school year.
