Last week’s Cross Country was another excellent example of our students stepping up and giving their best. Congratulations to our 2025 Cross Country Champions: Minor Girls: Addie Johnston Minor Boys: Riley Milligan Junior Girls: Shilah Milligan Junior Boys: Hunter Dodds Senior Girls: Pippa Greene Senior Boys: Brendan Greer Well done to everyone who took part and thank you to Mrs Rebecca Mallon and Mrs Erica Milligan as well as the rest of the staff who helped make the event run smoothly.
The Bowling Club is coming to Milton!
If you haven’t already heard, The Bowling Club’s delicious, affordable kai is making its way to Milton! Starting soon, you’ll be able to pick up your hot meals every Monday and Wednesday from the Tokomairiro Community Hub — right in the heart of our community. But before we tell you how to get your hands on a warm, wholesome feed, here’s a bit of backstory on how it all began. The Bowling Club began as a humble little food truck, battling the cold southerlies of South Dunedin. Run by the hardworking duo Jackie and Liam, the truck became a familiar sight on King Edward Street, with queues of hungry locals lining up for hours in the chill. Fast forward to today, and their kai is loved by communities all over Ōtepoti – and now they’re coming to Milton to share the warmth even further. How to Order Ordering your kai is easy as pie. Here’s how: 1️. Head to the deliveries page: thebowlingclub.co.nz/collections/delivery-orders 2️. Click on either ‘Monday’ or ‘Wednesday’ depending on your preferred pickup day. 3️. Choose from the weekly delivery menu (it changes every week!) and add your meals to your cart. 4️. In your cart, select ‘Milton’ as your collection point and include any notes (like dietary needs or hot sauce requests!). 5️. Add your payment details. If you need a discount code or would prefer to pay by bank transfer, flick an email to: admin@thebowlingclub.co.nz 6️. Once you’ve ordered, you’ll receive a confirmation email and/or text. 7️. Your food will be ready for pick-up at the Tokomairiro Community Hub between 4️pm and 5️pm on your delivery day. Order window opens: Fridays at 1️2️pm Cut-off: Midday on the day of delivery (Monday or Wednesday) Volunteer Drivers Needed! The Bowling Club runs thanks to an incredible crew of volunteer drivers, who not only deliver the kai but also receive free meals for their whānau. We're currently looking for a backup driver for Milton. Want to help? Get in touch at: outreach@thebowlingclub.co.nz The Tokomairiro Community Hub would love to give a massive thank you to The Bowling Club for thinking of us and bringing this amazing service to our town. Your mahi means so much to our whānau, and we’re beyond grateful for the delicious kai you bring.
