Community Day 2025
Our students had the opportunity to give back to our community last week as they took part in our second Community Day. Students were involved in: • Cleaning toys at the toy library • Framing and donating art to businesses/ groups • Construting items for the dog park • Hosting a free car wash • Singing at Ashlea Grove • Visiting local Early Childhood centres. *IMPORTANT NOTICE Dear School Community, Scope Group (via Nailedit Building Limited) have been contracted to undertake asbestos removal at our school as part of the current B Block alterations. This is the second stage of work and involves the removal of the building paper from the roof cavity. They will be starting this on the 11th of December, and we understand this work will be completed by the 1st of February. Scope Group are an A & B Class licensed Asbestos Removal Company as is required by Worksafe. All removal work will be completed as per the following Acts and Regulations: * Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 * Health and Safety at Work (Asbestos) Regulations 2016 * Approved Code of Practice for the Management and Removal of Asbestos Signage and fencing will be in place to identify the area where the work is being undertaken.
