Around Tennessee Tractor Celebrating Rhonda Cuthbertson After 12 years with Tennessee Tractor, Paris Administrative Assistant Rhonda Cuthbertson is retiring. During her time at Tennessee Tractor, Rhonda says she has especially enjoyed the customers and coworkers she has gotten to know over the years and will miss seeing them regularly. In retirement, Rhonda is looking forward to spending more time with family and doing some traveling. Thank you, Rhonda, for 12 years of service to Tennessee Tractor, and congratulations on your retirement!
Tennessee Tractor at Milan No-Till
Michael Sharpe, Robert Worley, Wade Barnhill and Chad Zarecor represented Tennessee Tractor at the 2026 Milan No-Till Field Day, visiting with attendees and showcasing the latest in agricultural equipment and technology.
Clean Hands Matter With school back in session and seasonal illnesses making the rounds, it's a good time to remember one of the simplest ways to prevent the spread of germs: wash your hands.
Use soap and clean running water, scrub for at least 20 seconds, and always wash before eating or preparing food and after using the restroom. A few extra seconds at the sink can help keep you, your family and your coworkers healthy.

A NEW PURPOSE FOR AN OLD HOME
Tennessee Tractor's original Alamo location is beginning a new chapter as a dedicated space for technician training and development.
Before we had ten locations across West Tennessee, Tennessee Tractor's story began in Alamo. In 1998, our original Alamo building became the first Tennessee Tractor location and served as our home for nearly 25 years. In January 2023, we moved our Alamo dealership just down the road to its current facility, while the original building remained in use. Today, that familiar building is being put to work in a different way. The space that once housed the day-to-day operations of our dealership is now being developed as a dedicated training environment, giving our technicians a place to learn, develop their skills and prepare for the increasingly technical work happening in service departments across Tennessee Tractor.
A Place to Be Proud Of
When Vince Powelson stepped into Tennessee Tractor's training role, part of the opportunity was creating the kind of training environment our technicians deserve. Training had taken place in the original Alamo building before, but there was plenty of work to be done to prepare the facility for its new role as a dedicated training center. Since stepping into the training role, Vince has invested significant time and effort into improving the facility. Today, the training center is becoming a clean, professional environment we can be proud to use for training technicians from across Tennessee Tractor. For Vince, the environment itself sends an important message.

When Vince first stepped into the role, he said what he looked forward to most was “being able to connect with my trainees and making a positive impact on their success.” With a dedicated facility taking shape, he now has an even greater opportunity to do exactly that.
Beyond the Classroom Training at the Alamo facility goes beyond the classroom. During a recent training class, technicians took what they were learning inside and applied it directly to equipment, with Vince and Chris Putt helping lead instruction. Having dedicated space for both classroom instruction and hands-on learning gives our technicians an opportunity to build their knowledge, put it into practice and learn alongside experienced members of our team.

Looking Ahead The training center is still a work in progress, but its potential is already taking shape. Vince believes the facility will create opportunities beyond what we have previously been able to offer our technicians, with continued focus on quality training, skills development and meeting John Deere training requirements. While there is still work ahead, the goal is to continue expanding the quality and capabilities of training available to our technicians. As the original Alamo building begins this next chapter, its purpose may have changed, but it remains focused on something that has always mattered to Tennessee Tractor: investing in the people who serve our customers.

From the Field: Harvest Automation ISG team members Chad Zarecor and Abigail Colarullo joined Union City salesman Chance Terry at Jacobs Farms in Rives, TN while they were shelling corn. They conducted pan tests to compare grain loss with John Deere Harvest Automation turned on and off. A full video with the results is coming soon.
