The Texas Excellence in Landscaping (TEIL) Awards are presented each year to landscaping firms who have completed outstanding projects. Landscaping firms submit their best projects to be reviewed by a panel of industry professionals.

This stunning estate showcases a harmonious blend of classic architecture and modern landscaping The property's design is centered around a circular driveway, with manicured lawns, hedges, and geometric patterns. A rectangular pool with a geometric tile pattern is a focal point of the backyard, while a circular fountain adds a touch of elegance to the front entrance Multiple outdoor living areas provide ample space for entertaining and relaxation Despite the significant challenges we faced, our team's dedication to excellence and commitment to creating a truly exceptional landscape allowed us to overcome them Time Constraints: The summer heat and the need to stamp the concrete quickly presented a narrow window for completing the project Fountain
Installation: The fountain's location in the middle of the driveway required careful coordination of electrical and irrigation systems, followed by strategic planting to conceal the infrastructure Irrigation Repairs: The settling of the footers caused numerous leaks in the existing irrigation system, necessitating extensive repairs and maintenance Material Sourcing: Specific design materials, such as the rock imported from Italy and Spain, required special orders and additional time for delivery Breezeway Repairs: The settling of the concrete breezeway necessitated digging a trench to address drainage, electrical, and irrigation issues Pool
Construction: The infinity edge pool, featuring a 5,000gallon circulation tank, presented challenges related to leak identification and optimal operation Through our expertise, dedication, and problem-solving skills, we were able to deliver a project that exceeded our client's expectations and showcases the highest standards of landscape design and execution We believe that this project exemplifies our commitment to quality, innovation, and overcoming adversity We invite the judges to carefully consider our submission and award us for our outstanding achievement

The strategic placement of the fountain in the center of the driveway creates a focal point while allowing for easy access to utilities The surrounding greenery, including the circular arrangement of plants and shrubs, complements the fountain's design and helps to conceal any visible infrastructure Despite the significant challenges we faced, our team's dedication to excellence and commitment to creating a truly exceptional landscape allowed us to overcome them Fountain Installation: The fountain's placement in the middle of the driveway required careful coordination of electrical and irrigation systems To conceal the infrastructure, we strategically utilized underground conduits and landscaping elements Infrastructure Concealment: The electrical and irrigation systems for the fountain were carefully buried or concealed within the landscaping, ensuring that they did not detract from the overall aesthetic Time Constraints: The summer heat and the need to stamp the concrete quickly presented a narrow window for completing the project

The clean lines, geometric patterns, and the seamless transition from the pool to the surrounding patio create a truly elegant and inviting space Installing the infinity edge pool presented unique challenges due to its complex design and large circulation tank. Our team successfully overcame these obstacles through meticulous planning, innovative techniques, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship In addition to this, a leak occurred in the 5,000 gallon circulation tank which our team had to identify, locate, and fix THis alone was a large obstacle in the completion of this project.

One of the most challenging aspects of this project was the repair and restoration of the breezeway connecting the main house to the guest house The settling of the concrete foundation had created significant issues affecting irrigation We had to trench underneath the concrete here to fix all of the irrigation and electrical components

Please Add a Description of Each Photo The carefully selected plants, including star jasmine, roses, and Pringle euonymus, create a vibrant and visually appealing border The rounded hedges and trimmed shrubs further enhance the overall aesthetic One of the challenges we faced during this project was the settling of the beds and the subsequent damage to the irrigation system. Our team successfully addressed and repaired the irrigation lines Additionally, we sourced a special order rock to complement the overall design and enhance the visual appeal of the landscape The rock's unique texture and color add depth and interest to the space
