Fannin 4-H Kids Cooking Camp 07/02/19 Press Release - The Fannin 4-H Club will host a cooking camp for kids on July 24th, 25th, and 26th from 8:30 am-12 pm each day. The Fannin 4-H Club is part of the Fannin County 4-H Youth Development Program. The Fannin County 4-H Youth Development Program provides many opportunities for youth to learn about cooking, food & nutrition, healthy lifestyles, and much more! One of those opportunities is a cooking competition called Food Challenge. Food Challenge is a team contest where youth receive a mystery ingredient and must create a dish with that ingredient and complete a presentation in front of a panel of judges. The judges then score the team on their knowledge of food safety, food groups, kitchen safety, and healthy eating. The cooking camp this July will prepare youth for the Food
