To ensure a smooth and safe event, city officials urge residents to review disposal guidelines carefully before departing, as certain items require specific drop-off locations or are strictly prohibited. Prohibited Items (Not Accepted Anywhere): ● Batteries ● Televisions ● Appliances containing Freon ● Contractor or commercial construction debris Specific Item Drop-Off Restrictions: ● Paint & Household Hazardous Waste: Accepted ONLY at the Multipurpose Complex from 9:00 AM to
11:00 AM. This limited window is the only time and location that will accept paint, oil, gas, cleaners, chemicals, and pesticides. An online reservation is required to drop off these materials. ● Brush & Green Debris: Accepted only at the Clarence Elkins Dump Site. ● Tires (With or Without Rims): Accepted only at the Multipurpose Complex or the Street Department. ● Furniture & Non-Freon Appliances: Accepted only at Sanitation Solutions or the Street Department.
