From Open Arms Shelter
Last year a young family with four children came to Open Arms Shelter seeking help. A tragedy left them homeless with nowhere to go. Over the next six months you responded, and recently the family moved out of our shelter transition house into their own home. This effort would not have been possible without the help and support from the gracious shelter donors, employees, and volunteers. Staff from
Bonham ISD, several local churches who supported the family spiritually, individuals who provided essentials for the family, Christmas gifts for the children, meals for the first several days, and of course many prayers from all over our county. THANK YOU. As you can see through this family's journey your participation continues to be essential as we offer those from our county a "hand up-not a handout".
