Live music starts at 7 pm. The October Art Show has a theme of Trees. A special exhibit is in the East Gallery, celebrating the work of Donna West throughout the month of October. West was an artist, photographer, thespian, board member and friend to many at the art center. Much of her artwork is available for sale for a donation to the center’s Kidz
Krew program. The art exhibit is open to the public anytime the center is open. Free admission. The art center also continues to offers a wide variety of art classes for all ages. Brush & Brunch is a class with lunch and painting on Oct 7 from 11 am to 3 pm. Chris Cravens is leading a Watercolor painting class on Nov 9 from 1-3 pm. A kids paint party will be held on Oct 11 from 10:30 am to noon. Kids Crafts with Jaye will be held on Tuesday afternoons from 4-5 pm on Oct 12, 21 and 28. Youth Mixed Media

Bonham, Texas – The fall series of Music in the Garden is underway at the Creative Arts Center in historic, downtown Bonham. EJ Miller will take the stage for Music in the
Garden on October 9 and Watusi will wrap up the music series on Oct 16. Bring a chair, some supper or snacks, your favorite beverages. $5 Cover charge. Gates open at 6:30pm.

Kay and David Castle will teach a Wall Basket Weaving Class on Oct 18 from 10 am to 2 pm and Gathering Baskets on Nov 14 from noon to 4 pm. Sip & Stitch is a free time for fiber artists to bring their current project and enjoy fellowship with others who like to crochet, knit, embroider and create other fiber arts. The next Sip & Stitch is set for Oct 23 from 6-8 pm. Likewise, Artist Get Togethers are free opportunity for artists of any medium to get together with other creative types and work on their current project. The next one is set for Oct 31 from 1-3 pm. Junk Journal Club meets monthly and will meet again on Oct 22 from 2-4 pm and on Saturday, Oct 25 from 10 am to 1 pm. This class is free for members and $5 for nonmembers.
