PRESS RELEASE - Fannin County Grand Jury Concludes Year With a Total of 227 New Cases The following people were indicted for the criminal offense and range of punishment indicated:
Criminal District Attorney Richard Glaser reports that on Thursday, December 19, 2024, the Grand Jury met and reviewed evidence in seven (7) cases. This Grand Jury returned seven (7) true bills or indictments listed below. The Fannin County Grand Jury has returned 227 true bills of indictment in 2024. It is important to note that an indictment is a formal charge and should not be considered as evidence of guilt and that all persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

A new Grand Jury for the January-June, 2025, term was impaneled and sworn in by Judge Laurine Blake of the 336th Judicial District Court on Friday, December 20, 2024. Their first meeting will be January 23, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
