of the Board of Directors of Bonham Economic Development Corporation. He noted Quorum established with all members present. Not listed on the agenda was the presentation of a busi-

ness incentive grant check to Chelsea and Justin Hodges owners of the business known as the “Haus of High Cotton” located at 422 N. Center St. in Bonham (previous location of RPM Staffing.)

their much-appreciated assistance, gave a summation of their business and the reason for their move to Bonham. 2. Consideration and possible action to approve the Minutes of the Regular Meeting held on November 21st, 2022. No meeting was held in December: A motion was made by Board Member Kelly Royce to approve with Board Member Allen Sanderson seconding the motion which passed unanimously. 3. Consideration & possible action acknowledging the monthly financial reports for November 2022 and December 2022: Bonhams Finance Supervisor Michelle Burnett gave a report of increased sales tax receipts in December. She noted a current 1% unfavorable to the Fiscal Year Budget but added a steady receipt increase is anticipated through March. Board Member Wayne Moore made the motion to accept the report with Kelly Royse seconding the motion which passed unanimously. 4. Citizens Opportunity to Speak: [The Board of Directors of the Bonham Economic Development Corporation invites persons with comments or observations to briefly address the Board for the limited purpose of determining whether the matter should be referred to staff for study and response and/or be placed on a future meeting agenda. Local practice limits comments to three (3) minutes or less. State law prohibits the Board of Directors from considering deliberations on any item not listed on the posted Board of Directors Agenda.]: Chuck Neighbors, one of the owners of Neighbors Place Winery located at 205 W. 3rd St. in Bonham, spoke to thank BEDCO for having the lot across from their business cleaned up. He also thanked them for the opportunity to apply for a grant that would assist him and his wife Pam in updating a building on their site in order to expand their business. The next to speak was Board Member Allen Sanderson who asked to speak as a citizen. He spoke to call attention to the problem of trash on Bonham’s roads specifically noting Hwy 82 and 121 to be problem areas and to voice his desire to have something done about it. Continued
