My experience at the Thornton-McFerrin Coaching Academy has been tremendous. It has allowed me to meet people and make connections that I never would have imagined. This experience has equipped me for the next step of my life I have been blessed to work with amazing people that have made life at Texas A&M University something that will be difficult to leave behind. Events such as student seminars, job conventions, THSCA events, and lunches with people within the coaching profession have made a lasting impact on my life for which I am truly thankful Being a Graduate Assistant for this program has allowed me to build meaningful relationships with students throughout Texas A&M. Over the last 2 years, I have seen the Coaching Academy grow tremendously, and I have no doubt that it will expand even more in the future This is all thanks to Michael Thornton, Lindsey Killingsworth, Kelli Campbell, Diane Graham, Alyssa Thomas, Mia Alvarez and everyone that has allowed me to be a part of such an impactful program that is only scratching the surface of what is yet to come – Kendall Downey, ‘25
