EPD
What is an EPD?
An EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) is an internationally standardized report detailing carbon emissions at each stage of a product’s life cycle, from raw material to recycled product. It is verified by a third party to ensure accurate data.
What does A1-A3 GWP mean?
Does an EPD mean a product is sustainable?
No, the EPD is a standardization on how to collect, calculate and display carbon emissions. However, this make it possible to actually compare products to each other, helping deciding products with lower environmental impact.
Where are the generic values taken from?
GWP is short for Global Warming Potential. A1-A3 is the modules in the environmental assessment that include the product stage. A1 - Raw material supply, A2 - Transport, A3 - Manufacturing. GWP A1-A3 gives the total combined value of the product stage.

SENCOPLUS Strip nails
DIAMOND POINT
The diamond point works its way around the wood fibers which provides a high pull-out strength.
SHARP CHISEL POINT
The sharp chisel point cuts the wood fibers to reduce splitting. Perfect for siding applications.
Colour coding
We use a clear and practical color system. We work with four distinct colors, making it easy to identify each product type at a glance: Indoor, Protected Outdoor, Outdoor, and Stainless Steel. This applies to all our products, including coil nails, strip nails, and metal connectors.
CLIPPED HEAD
The clipped head (D-head) is the most cost-efficient strip nail type, typically used in concealed applications.
SENCO PRO HEAD
Is an offset head that gives a full round head to Senco’s 34º strip nails. Ideal for siding with a clean, visually appealing finish.
SENCOPLUS Coil nails
FLAT HEAD
Flat head is available in both HDG and Stainless Steel A4.
DOME HEAD
Offers a decorative look and is common on siding that will not be painted. Available in Stainless steel A4.
WIRE COLLATED
Wire collated nails are a cost-effective choice. For visable applications such as siding, brush off any wire residue under the head.
PLASTIC COLLATED
Plastic-collated nails come in HDG & Stainless Steel A4. Ideal for visible applications as it doesn’t leave residue under the head.
