Advertising banners are hosted on the HeraldLIVE homepage or on various sub sections through out the site (eg. Business or Lifestyle). Banner campaigns are completely measurable, and we are able to provide you with a report at the end of the campaign, detailing the amount of people it reached and click through rate. They are available in two formats: impression based adverts or static adverts

Banner adverts Impression based - measured per "impression" - i.e. an impression made on a reader or a view. - billed per 1000 impressions. Standard rate: R445 excl vat for 1000 impressions. (i.e. 50 000 impressions = R22 250 excl vat) - limited to the amount of impressions you've purchased. Static banner: - Is STATIC which means it does not rotate or share space with other advertisers. - measured and sold per day, not per impression, at a minimum of 2 days per campaign. - only available on a regional level (and is off limits to our national advertisers) thus ensuring that preference is given to our local advertisers. Rate: Strip R1800 excl vat per day / Block R2500 excl vat per day Subject to discount over a longer period

What is native advertising? Native advertising is a type of advertorial, mostly online, that matches the form and function of the platform upon which it appears. The native advertising material/content will match the publication's editorial content but is paid for by an advertiser and intended to promote the advertiser's product. HeraldLIVE Homepage Takeover HeraldLIVE Homepage Takeover A HPTO is an aggressive form of advertising, where your adverts will fill all the slots available on the home page, including the "skin" or "background" of the page. These are usually sold on a day to day package and campaigns are kept short (maximum 2 consecutive days) but can be spaced out to maximize reach (i.e. takeover runs every Friday for a month etc) Rate: R7500 excl vat per day

HeraldLIVE Social Media Maximise your reach, on social media, by running a social media advert campaign. The content must be interesting and engaging. You will be tagged to the advert, to encourage healthy cross over, from our profile to yours. We are also able to use specific hashtags, relevant to your campaign. (eg. #QuickPicsSale) A full report on engagement and the amount of clients the advert reached, is available at the end of the campaign. We are also able to BOOST the post - i.e. spend money on Facebook advertising, to ensure that a targeted audience sees the advert. Rate: R2500 excl vat per post HERALDLIVE.CO.ZA

HeraldLIVE Carousel Campaign A "spotlight" carousel dedicated to specific/niche news and updates is hosted on the home page of HeraldLIVE. The carousel can be updated with fresh news, advertorials, adverts and information pertaining to a specific industry/event. The previews on the homepage will click through to full length advertorials or adverts.
The link to this click through will be shared to our social media, combining the reach of the HeraldLIVE website with the power of social media to ensure that your clients information is seen by more people. HERALDLIVE.CO.ZA

Carousel Campaign overview A HeraldLIVE carousel campaign includes: Advertorials/adverts hosted on the HeraldLIVE website for the duration of the campaign. (Client to produce content) A preview of these advertorials/adverts will be featured on our homepage under the (eg.) "Spotlight Daily Specials" carousel. This can be updated once a week, in the event where the campaign runs for 1 month or longer. Social media shares on HeraldLIVE Facebook will be scheduled (the period and frequency varies, per campaign) Rate: R3000 excl vat per day for full package (native advert/spotlight preview/social media). Discount allowed over longer periods
