What to pack for holiday? | 5 essential things to bring with you

One of the things that takes the most time when we prepare fortrips isto organize thesuitcase. Havingto think about what to wear and always stay with the feeling that weforget somethingimportant. Therefore,it isusually veryusefulto preparealistofthings, which servesasa guide and makes the task much easier.

Appropriate clothing

To packwell, carry whatyou normally wear, not what you would like to wear and have not dared before using. Going comfortable is important and it is not the time to experiment. A good trick to make luggage is to make sets of clothes, that is, towear clothes thatcombine with each other so that you do not stop putting something on because it does not combine. Thus, if you are only going totravel a few days, you can make dailysets using several articles several days.

If it is a long trip, load with shirts, dresses, skirts or shoesthat cancombinewell witheachother. Also, think thatlaundries existallover theworldand thatclothes can be washed and thus avoid going very heavy. If you are going to visit lots of temples, such as on a trip to India, remember to pack a scarf for modesty.

Electronic equipment

Remember that electronic equipment must be very wellpacked, toavoiddamage. Goodadviceis tocarry them in yourhandbag or in a suitablebackpack to protectthem.Andso, donot checktheseitemsinthehold baggage. If you have no choice but to carry some of theminside thesuitcase, remember toputthem inthe

heart of the luggage, surrounded by clothes that can mitigate any impact. Your electronic staff is one of the most importantthingsin thelistofwhatto packforholiday. Remember tocheck before leavingif it isnecessary to carry anadapter accordingto thetype ofthe plugof the place you will visit.

Basic prevention kit

Itisalways necessarytocarryasmall firstaidkit when youtravel. Keep inmind thatif you donot check luggage you cannot carry scissors or liquids of more than 100 ml. Important items include: pain relief, bandages, antihistamines, antibiotics, mosquito spray and -if you take medication for specific control of any disease - take enough chronic meds for the trip. Don t forget your sunscreen and moisturizer in case of sunburn.

Money, cards and documentation

Some hotels and car rentals askfor a credit card as a guarantee, andyounever knowwhenanunforeseen event appears. Remember to verify copies of the required documentation and keep them as back up.

Some tricks to reduce weight

Avoidchaos inyoursuitcaseby storingyourclothing in packingcubes. An extrafoldable bagor backpack mightcome inhandyshould youneedto repackyour luggage.

If you travel only with hand luggage, carry the bulkiest with youwhile youare in thetransport. Forexample: if you go toa cold destination you couldcarry the coat outside andwith the larger footwearso that itdoes not occupy so much volume in the suitcase.
