O Tannenbaum is the Tioga County Historical Society’s (TCHS) Annual Holiday Display and Auction. Trees, wreaths, and other items donated by the community are displayed throughout the museum as part of a silent auction. The event

culminates on Final Bid Night with entertainment and refreshments. All fundraising proceeds directly benefit the Tioga County Historical Society, a 503(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The TCHS Museum is located at 110 Front Street in Owego.

Lights on the River - December 5
The holiday spirit will sparkle in Tioga County on Friday, December 5, as historic Owego celebrates Lights on the River from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
It’s an evening of fun and merriment, live entertainment, food, shopping, holiday lights, and the evening ends with a fireworks display over the river.

Apalachin Lions Annual Winter Coat Drive The Apalachin Lions and the Foodbank Of The Southern Tier will hold a Mobile Food Pantry on Wednesday, November 26, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at St. Margaret Mary’s Church, 1110 Pennsylvania Avenue in Apalachin.

Apalachin Lions Christmas Baskets The Apalachin Lions will again be holding their Christmas Basket effort for those needing assistance during Christmas in the Apalachin, Little Meadows and Campville areas. The club provides food certificates for families and toys or certificates for children 15 and under. If you
think you can qualify, please contact us by email at: Christmas@ApalachinLions.org and we will send you an application. Applications must be completed and returned by November 28th to be considered for inclusion in this program.
