President’s Letter Dear Members, The Club looks gorgeous in all its Christmas finery. The cool weather makes for one of the most beautiful times of year in North Florida. The clubhouse is full of families celebrating. The golf course and tennis courts are full of spirited play, and in gorgeous condition. We are indeed very fortunate. As we approach the New Year, it’s a good time to think about opportunities and challenges in the year to come. We are seeing the final stages of our long-range planning coming to fruition with next year’s completion of the Golf Performance Center, and Pickleball facility and the final stages of bunker and course restoration completed this year. We will also be undertaking renovations of the patio and riverfront area of the Club in mid 2027. The Club and its facilities are indeed in top condition and will only become better. Of course, none of this happens without the hard work and commitment of all of our membership and staff. I have talked with many of you about how very fortunate we are to have had a legacy of great Board leadership. When people ask me whether this job is difficult, I have to be honest and tell them that it is actually an honor and a pleasure to serve. That’s because I’m able to build on the tremendous work of prior Boards and Presidents. I’m also able to build on the great leadership and hard work
of our professional staff and department heads. We are truly blessed with great leaders at the Board level, the committee level, and in our Club’s professional staff. While our Club faces challenges like any other organization, our talent, hard work, and year on year leadership have allowed us to meet those challenges and thrive. I must also recognize all of you who are reading this newsletter. I cannot thank all of you enough for the support you’ve given me during this year of leadership. Your insights, your questions, and your passion for our Club are unmistakable and valuable. I am lucky to call many of you good friends and have gotten to know many more of you better through my year of service. One of the reasons that I love our Club is that it’s very special to all of us. People care deeply about it. That is not something to take for granted. It’s very special to all of us. That is part of what makes our Club very special. A club is ultimately not the bricks, and turf, and landscape. A great club is really the members and the friendships and the culture. We have so very much of all of that. I hope all of you enjoy a wonderful Christmas and New Year with your families and friends. SPRING SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS On behalf of the Timuquana Cares Employee Foundation Board, I am delighted to recognize Lacey Mills and Morgan Bartman as this year’s Spring family scholarship winners. Both of these ladies have shown passion, dedication and commitment to their education, future careers and responsibilities around the Club.
Lacey Mills, Culinary Lacey has been a valued chef at Timuquana since June 2023 and has been a rising star in the kitchen over the past two years. Lacey fell in love with cooking at an early age following alongside her mom and grandma. While getting first-hand experience at TCC, Lacey is also pursuing her associate’s degree in culinary management at FSCJ. She is currently working on establishing a catering business with her best friend and hopes to open her own restaurant in the future. We are fortunate to have such a dedicated and passionate culinarian in the TCC kitchen.
Morgan Bartman, Daughter of Recreation Director Walt Bartman Morgan has been a true asset to TCC for several years, helping in various capacities around the Club, including our summer camp and treehouse childcare programs. Currently, Morgan is a freshman at Tallahassee State College and will be transferring to Florida State University in the Spring to pursue a career in Crime Scene Technology. Her natural inquisitiveness and attention to detail fits perfectly with her passion to become a crime scene investigator where she can uphold justice and make a meaningful impact on people’s lives. We are excited to hear about her future success as a real-life CSI. Respectfully,

Beginning January 1, the Club will introduce an enhanced applicant-review resource designed to support our Membership Committee in its ongoing responsibility to preserve the values, culture, and high standards that define our community. As part of this effort, we have engaged Kennis, a respected third party specializing in discreet online and social-media profiling.

Our initiation fees are increasing on October 1, 2026. A chart of the new fees is listed below. All other current members who wish to transfer to a new category, such as House Social to Founder, National to Founder or House Social, or any other membership transfer, must do so by September 30, 2026, in order to qualify for our current initiation fee rates. Once initiation fee rates increase on October 1, current members who request a transfer are subject to the new initiation fees. appy almost New Year. I hope these last few days of 2025 are everything you wish them to be as we head to 2026. As we are about to embark on a new year at Timuquana, I want to express how much I look forward to another wonderful year with you. As you know, we have an exciting year ahead, highlighted by the grand opening of our Golf Performance Center and Pickleball Facility later this spring. These new additions will further elevate the experience for our members and provide firstclass service with expanded offerings and relaxing lounge areas for members and guests. We look forward to sharing more details about the facilities, programs and opening plans in the March/April Timuquanan. As you’re making plans to visit the course over the coming months, please keep these dates in mind. The Golf course will be closed on Monday, January 19 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, but the course and T-Stand will be open on Monday, February 16 for Presidents’ Day. The course will be closed following Presidents’ Day on Tuesday, February 17.

MESSAGE FROM THE PROS We hope you and your family have had a wonderful holiday season. We have enjoyed spending time with all of you both on and off the courts these past few weeks. As we are just a few days away from 2026, this is a great time to reflect on 2025 and set a few goals for the year ahead. Your goals can be strategic, technical, or just finding new ways to enjoy the sport you love to play. We are looking forward to all of the exciting new things happening around the Club this coming year. Most notably, the opening of the new Pickleball facility in the spring, which brings new programming, special events, exhibitions, and social gatherings. We’ll also be doing a complete overhaul of courts 5-8 with new clay, drainage, and lines during the early summer months. Plus, we’re excited to introduce destination trips this year. There are so many new features we can’t wait to incorporate. As always, please don’t hesitate to let anyone on the Rackets Sports Staff know if we can help with anything.
NEW YEAR TENNIS RESOLUTION TIP The ongoing battle of Power vs Consistency. We know everyone likes to try to hit the ball hard, in hopes of throwing their opponent off and earning a point, unfortunately most of the time we aren’t making our opponents hit the ball. Instead, focus on trying to be more consistent and increase your rally ball percentage first and then work towards adding power.

We also encourage you to practice using the “Third” method. When practicing and training outside your matches, use the “Third” rule, playing one higher level, one on the same level and one lower level. Practicing with different levels creates different challenges and helps you to become a more rounded player.

WELCOME TO OUR NEW STAFF MEMBERS Join us in welcoming two fresh new faces to the Food & Beverage Management team, Kean Vonada and Neal Jeffries. Kean will be assuming the position of Director of Restaurant & Beverage Operations overseeing the Pow Wow Room, The Grove and 19th Hole along with the Club’s beverage selections and events. Kean comes to us from Sea Island Resort where he has been the General Manager of Tavola at the Cloister for the past two and half years. Prior to that he was the Assistant Director of F&B Operations at Sea Oaks Beach and Tennis Club in Vero Beach. Kean has also worked for the Ritz Carlton Company at locations throughout the U.S. Kean, his fiancé Kellie and their son Everett are excited to join the TCC team. Kean starts with us on December 30. Joining Kean is a close friend and fellow Sea Island General Manager, Neal Jeffries. Neal has been the General Manager of Southern Tide at the Cloister Beach Club for the past year. Bar Manager. Neal will be assuming the role of Service Director and will be responsible for day-to-day training, elevating our service standards and consistently delivering a better member experience. His background managing, motivating and training teams with more than 35 employees will fit well with our staff size. Neal will join us in early February. We are excited to welcome Kean and Neal and look forward to their impact on both our staff, members and the hospitality experience throughout our dining outlets this year.

NEW YEAR, NEW YOU! January 1, 2026 – February 28, 2026 8-Week Fitness Challenge
Join us for this 8-week fitness challenge and kick-start your journey to a stronger, healthier you! Participants will complete check-ins every two weeks to monitor progress and set goals. The winner will be the individual who loses the highest percentage of body fat (based on the Inbody scan) by the end of the challenge. Stay committed, stay motivated, and compete for a $100 Timuquana gift card, redeemable for personal training, snacks in the fitness center, and specialty fitness events.

TCC KID’S DAY CAMPS January 2, 5, 6, 16 & 19 February 16
We know it can be challenging to find childcare when school is closed, so we are here to help. We’ll be offering our one-day kids camps again for teacher in-service days, parent-teacher conferences, Fall, Winter and Spring breaks. Your campers will enjoy arts and crafts, games and sport activities. The camps will run from 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. with before and aftercare available for those who need it for an additional charge. Lunch and snacks will be provided each day. Cost per day: $125 per member with a $10 discount per sibling and $150 per guest. Advanced registration is encouraged. Registrations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged a $150 daily drop-in rate. Let us help make it a summer to remember for your kids. With our expanded camp offerings, we know we’ll have something for everyone. We’ll have our longtime favorite, Camp Timuquana, and some awesome specialty camps like excursion, sailing, surf, cheer, and art, plus our brand-new War Eagle swim camp. This camp will offer skills training, stroke evaluation, fun aquatic games and the same food and snack schedule as our other camps. We’re excited to have Coach Sondra lead this unique camp. Our camps are filled with high-energy activities like pickleball, swimming, golf, and scavenger hunts, coupled with hands-on fun like art, crafts, Legos, STEM activities and more. WAR EAGLE SWIMMING TCC’s very own Club USA sanctioned swim team welcomes new swimmers to join year-round. Coach Austin, Walt, and Sondra look forward to teaching our younger members the fundamentals of swimming efficiently and fast. Our coaches will give each swimmer a strong foundation in stroke technique and from there build speed, flexibility, power, endurance and conditioning. Instruction is provided daily for novice, age group, and senior groups. Practices and meets fill in the rest of the yearly schedule throughout the year.
