As the town continues to grow, the policy will allow for many more. “We already have a great art project going here, with three sculptures throughout our community,” Angell said. “You have the deer on Tangerine, the cowboy and cattle in the new roundabout and then the falcons down by the Amazon facility.” On June 20, council reviewed the final draft of the town’s proposed public art policy, which will establish a fund and committee to establish high-quality public art across the town of Marana. After receiving feedback from the March 2023 council retreat, staff updated the policy to take a value percentage from building permits and use it for the
