Heather Renschler, with the firm Ralph Andersen & Associates, has suggested the next steps in a process to find a successor to Mary Jacobs, who resigned the position in September after becoming town manager in 2017. Chris Cornelison, deputy town manager, has served as interim town manager since Jacobs’ departure. The schedule is compact; Oro Valley wants to make an offer to a candidate by Friday, April 14, according to Renschler’s letter. The review process began at a special town council meeting Thursday, March 16, at which council discussed format and structure of three panel interviews — by residents, staff and the town council — as well as plans for community tours, and other public details. Additionally, council was presented the full roster of candidates during a closed executive session. Renschler has suggested each of the seven council members nominate a resident
