The resignation came two days after the town council discussed her performance review in executive session. The town council directed staff to select a recruitment firm and begin a nationwide search. Winfield continued by stating he and the council are committed to “casting a wide net to ensure we find a quality candidate to carry on the great work of the town in the years ahead.” In the interim, Deputy Town Manager Chris
