Proven and Patented Performance Our Convex V Hull (Patent #6874441) is designed to work with the flow of water instead of dragging against it. Every inch of the Convex V Hull has been sculpted, engineered, and proven to work in synergy with nature, the laws of physics, and, more specifically, the Coanda Effect— the phenomena of fluid adhering to a curved surface. The curved running surface of the Convex V Hull activates the Coanda Effect, causing static water pressure to drop and, as a result, pulls the boat deeper into the water. By eliminating the lift of a planing hull and going with the flow, your Ultré ZX will produce wakes with more ease and better fuel efficiency than any other boat on the water. TAPS 3T and its powerful actuators maximize the natural capabilities of the Convex V Hull.
