Acclamation – Aris (Danroad)
RATHASKER STUD • Fee €6,500
Proven Classic-producing sire Aclaim (Acclamation) has been purchased by Rathasker Stud in Co Kildare ahead of the 2026 breeding season. He is available at a fee of €6,500.
He won a 6f Kempton maiden on his only start at two and progressed through the handicap ranks to win a Newbury Listed race and the Gr.2 Challenge Stakes as a three-year-old. Even better as an older horse, he capped a superb career with wins over his preferred trip of 7f in the Gr.2 Park Stakes and Gr.1 Prix de la Foret, although he also won over a mile.
Aclaim’s racing record is backed up by a top-class pedigree. He is a half-brother to the US Gr.3 winner Queen Picasso (Kingman) and out of a Listed-placed three-partssister to the Gr.1 Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Again (Danehill Dancer). The wider family includes the Gr.1 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner and leading stallion Montjeu (Sadler’s Wells), while his father Acclamation is a noted sire of sires.
Initially retired to the National Stud in 2018, Aclaim made a blistering start to his career when his first-crop daughter Cachet won the Gr.1 1,000 Guineas and Gr.3 Nell Gwyn Stakes at Newmarket, as well as finishing second in the Gr.1 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches. Also responsible for the Listed scorers Purosangue and Royal Aclaim, he has produced at least 49 winners every year since 2022 and continues to offer breeders exceptional value for money.

High-class two-year-old Aesterius is an exciting addition to the stallion roster at Bearstone Stud in Shropshire this year.
A £380,000 breeze-up purchase, the now four-year-old went into training with Archie Watson for Wathnan Racing and demonstrated speed, precocity and durability. He made a winning debut at Bath in May before being beaten just over a length in the Gr.2 Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot. A decisive victory in the Listed Dragon Stakes was next, followed by a second in the Gr.3 Molecomb Stakes and wins in the Gr.3 Prix d’Arenberg and Gr.2 Flying Childers Stakes.
His last two Stakes victories were separated by just 12 days, which underlines his toughness, and his beaten rivals included the future Gr.1 winners Big Mojo (Mohaather) and Magnum Force (Mehmas). He posted the second-fastest time in the Prix d’Arenberg (55.63s) since it was reduced in distance in 2015 and, in doing so, recorded an extraordinary top speed of 73.51 km per hour (approximately 45.7mph).
A son of Mehmas, the record-breaking Champion Firstand Second-Crop Sire, Aesterius is out of an unraced halfsister to the Gr.3 Horris Hill Stakes winner Tawhid (Invincible Spirit), and his grandam is the multiple US Gr.3 winner Snowdrops (Gulch). He shares numerous traits with his sire, including a comparable racing record, and looks highly likely to produce elite-level juveniles in a similar image.

“Aesterius is a gorgeous looking colt with brilliant speed and a willing attitude. With his proven class, temperament and Mehmas’s record for producing top juveniles, he looks every inch an exciting young stallion prospect. ” Richard Brown, Wathnan Racing
Sergei Prokofiev – Liberisque (Equiano) IRISH NATIONAL STUD
The Gr.1 Flying Five Stakes winner Arizona Blaze will begin his stallion career at the Irish National Stud for a fee of €12,500.
The son of Sergei Prokofiev made an immediate impact on the track, winning on debut over 5f at the Curragh in March. On his third start, he got the better of Camille Pissarro (Wootton Bassett) to win the Gr.3 Marble Hill Stakes, before placing third in the Gr.2 Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot. He added further top-class juvenile form to his CV when finishing third in the Gr.1 Phoenix Stakes and runner-up in the Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint. At three, he returned to winning ways when breaking the track record in the Gr.3 Prix Sigy in April and continued to perform with distinction at the highest level thereafter. He produced a series of high-class efforts, including a narrow defeat when second in the Gr.1 Commonwealth Cup, and signed off his racing career with a decisive victory in the Gr.1 Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh, producing a career-best performance to defeat established Gr.1 sprinters like Asfoora (Flying Artie) and Whistlejacket (No Nay Never).
Out of the winning Equiano mare Liberisque, Arizona Blaze finished his racing career with prize money earnings just shy of €1m and a Timeform rating of 119.

Frankel – Rhadegunda (Pivotal)
YORTON FARM • Fee £8,500
Exceptional racehorse and crack young sire Cracksman has joined the Futter family’s Yorton Farm in a dual-purpose capacity ahead of the 2026 breeding season.
The 12-year-old son of Frankel was a horse of rare talent, winning back-to-back renewals of the Gr.1 Champion Stakes by a combined margin of 13 lengths. Also winner of the Gr.1 Coronation Cup and placed in the Gr.1 Derby, he was the Cartier Champion Three-Year-Old Colt of 2017 and shared the crown of Longines World’s Best Racehorse in 2018.
A half-brother to the Gr.3 Solario Stakes winner Fantastic Moon (Dalakhani) and from the family of Golden Horn (Cape Cross; now a leading dual-purpose sire), Cracksman began stallion duties in 2019. There was immediate promise from his maiden crop, with Dance In The Grass winning the EBN-sponsored Listed Star Stakes and Aloa taking the Gr.2 Premio Dormello in 2022, yet they were merely an aperitif.
The outstanding Ace Impact emerged on the scene a year later, going unbeaten in all six starts, including the Gr.1 Prix du Jockey Club and Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, and earning the title of Cartier Horse of the Year. Now the sire of 12 individual Stakes winners on the Flat, Cracksman’s prowess extends to the Gr.3 Galway Hurdle winner Ndaawi and the dual Listed-winning hurdler Liari. He offers breeders exceptional value at a highly competitive fee of £8,500.

Frankel – Sweepstake (Acclamation)
THE NATIONAL STUD • Fee £17,500
The Gr.1 Prix Jacques Le Marois hero Diego Velazquez will kickstart his stallion career at The National Stud, where he will stand for a fee of £17,500.
The son of Frankel made an immediate impact on the track, winning on his first two starts as a juvenile, including the Gr.2 Juvenile Stakes at Leopardstown in September. As a three-year-old, he was beaten just a length when fourth in the Gr.1 Poule Essai des Poulains before returning to Leopardstown in July to record a decisive seven-length success in the Gr.3 Meld Stakes. He finished his three-yearold campaign strongly by capturing the Gr.2 Solonaway Stakes by a length and a half on Irish Champions weekend. Kept in training at four, Diego Velazquez prevailed in the Gr.2 Minstrel Stakes on his second start of the season before producing a career-best performance in the Gr.1 Prix Jacques Le Marois. In that contest, he defeated established top-level performers like Notable Speech (Dubawi), Dancing Gemini (Camelot), Docklands (Massaat) and Ascoli Piceno (Daiwa Major).
Diego Velazquez is a half-brother to the Gr.1 winners and sires Broom and Point Lonsdale (both by Australia), out of the dual Listed winner and Gr.3-placed Sweepstake (Acclamation). He hails from the family of the Gr.1-winning sire Zoffany (Dansili).

NORTON GROVE STUD • Fee £3,000
The Gr.2 Coventry Stakes runner-up and Gr.3 Prix Eclipse winner Electrolyte will begin his stallion career at Norton Grove Stud, standing for a fee of £3,000.
A son of Hello Youmzain, he displayed immediate promise as a juvenile and made a winning debut by two and a quarter lengths at Ayr in June. He was subsequently tested in Group company on his next start in the Gr.2 Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot, when he produced a bold effort to go down by just a nose to Rashabar (Holy Roman Emperor), with the likes of the future Classic winner and fellow new sire Camille Pissarro (Wootton Bassett) behind him that day. He returned later in the season to secure his first Group success, capturing the Prix Eclipse at Chantilly in September when narrowly defeating Polyvega (Lope De Vega) in a close finish on his final start at two.
Electrolyte is a half-brother to the Gr.3 Earl of Sefton Stakes winner Steel Of Madrid (Lope De Vega; known as Calderon in Australia) and is out of the winning Royal Applause mare Bibury. He hails from a notable female line that includes the Gr.1 Gold Cup winner Rite Of Passage (Giant’s Causeway) and the influential blue hen mare Dahlia (Vaguely Noble), whose descendants include Gr.1 winners Dahar (Lyphard), Rivlia (Riverman), Delegant (Grey Dawn) and Dahlia’s Dreamer (Theatrical).

The dual Gr.3 winner Elite Status will begin his stallion career at Whitsbury Manor Stud, standing for a fee of £8,000.
A son of fellow Whitsbury resident Havana Grey, he made a rapid start to his racing career and won his first two starts as a juvenile. Those early successes included an emphatic five-length victory in the Listed National Stakes at Sandown, marking him as one of the more promising two-year-olds of his crop. He gained his first Group success later that season when winning the Gr.3 Prix de Cabourg, defeating the future Gr.1 winner Sajir (Make Believe) by a length and a quarter. As a three-year-old, Elite Status again showed speed and consistency early in the campaign, winning his first two starts, both at Stakes level, which included adding a second Group success when capturing the Gr.3 Hackwood Stakes. That victory came in a competitive field and he defeated the likes of Lake Forest (No Nay Never) and Kind Of Blue (Blue Point), confirming his effectiveness at Pattern level. He was retired after running three times at four.
Elite Status is a full-brother to the Listed Champion Two Years Old Trophy winner Soldier’s Heart and is out of the three-time winner Dotted Swiss (Swiss Spirit). He hails from the family of Gr.1 winners and sires Diego Velazquez (Frankel), Broome (Australia) and Point Lonsdale (Australia).

Shamardal – Ajman Princess (Teofilo)
The Gr.1 Commonwealth Cup victor and dual Gr.2-winning champion Inisherin debuts at Dalham Hall Stud this season.
Trained by Kevin Ryan for late owner-breeder Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum, the now five-year-old son of Shamardal displayed promise when second on his only outing as a juvenile and followed an early novice win at three with a creditable sixth in the Gr.1 2,000 Guineas. However, a subsequent drop to sprinting would unlock further improvement, and a highly impressive win in the Gr.2 Sandy Lane Stakes was followed by a two and a quarterlength triumph in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot, defeating a field that included the future Gr.1 winners Kind Of Blue (Blue Point) and Starlust (Zoustar). Lightly raced for the remainder of that season, Inisherin bounced back to his best to win the Gr.2 Duke of York Stakes at four.
A compelling racing record is supplemented by a superb pedigree, as Inisherin hails from one of Sheikh Mohammed Obaid’s most celebrated families. He is a half-brother to the Gr.3 Strensall Stakes winner King Of Cities (Dubawi) and they are out of the Gr.1 Prix Jean Romanet winner Ajman Princess (Teofilo). The second dam Reem Three (Mark Of Esteem) also produced the Gr.1 Queen Anne Stakes winner and sire Triple Time (Frankel), and is grandam of the dual Gr.1 winner and new sire Rosallion (Blue Point).

Farhh – Salacia (Echo Of Light) TWEENHILLS FARM &
The Gr.1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes winner King Of Change made an excellent impression in five seasons at stud in Ireland and looks a classy addition to the British stallion ranks at Tweenhills Farm & Stud. He will stand at £8,500.
Trained by Richard Hannon, King Of Change finished first or second in all six racecourse appearances. In addition to his brilliant QEII win at Ascot, where he beat eight individual Gr.1 winners, he also won the Listed Fortune Stakes at Sandown and took second in the Gr.1 2,000 Guineas behind Magna Grecia (Invincible Spirit). A son of the potent black-type sire Farhh and a half-brother to the Gr.2 Celebration Mile Stakes winner and Gr.1-placed sire Century Dream (Cape Cross), King Of Change welcomed his first runners in 2024 and has quickly elevated his profile from limited runners.
His maiden crop featured the triple Listed winner Lady With The Lamp, the Listed Prix Occitanie victrix Miss Of Change (who also beat the colts in the Czech Derby) and the Listed Garnet Stakes heroine Onemoredance, while his second crop yielded the Listed Silver Tankard Stakes victor Shayem, who is guaranteed a place in this year’s Gr.1 Derby field at Epsom after landing a ‘win and you’re in’ qualifier. His progeny operated at a superb 13.3 per cent Stakes winners-to-runners ratio in 2025, and bigger and stronger books in the pipeline will ensure his star continues to rise.

The Gr.1 Lockinge Stakes winner Lead Artist will begin his stallion career at Banstead Manor Stud, standing at a fee of £12,500.
A son of Dubawi, he made his debut as a three-year-old, winning on his second start by an impressive four and threequarter lengths in a novice contest at York. He progressed quickly to Group company later that season and gained his first Stakes success when capturing the Gr.3 Thoroughbred Stakes on his first attempt at this level. He added a second Gr.3 victory later in the year when winning the Darley Stakes at Newmarket in October, confirming his consistency at Pattern level. Kept in training as a four-year-old, Lead Artist produced his career-best performance when winning a highly competitive renewal of the Gr.1 Lockinge Stakes, edging out Dancing Gemini (Camelot) by a neck and defeating established Gr.1 winners Rosallion (Blue Point), Notable Speech (Dubawi), Fallen Angel (Too Darn Hot) and Tamfana (Soldier Hollow). Retired to stud at the conclusion of last year’s campaign, he is the first foal out of the Gr.2 Prix de Sandringham winner and Gr.1-placed Obligate (Frankel) and hails from Juddmonte’s influential blue hen mare Hasili (Kahyasi), who produced the Gr.1winning sire Champs Elysees (Danehill) and Champion Broodmare sire Dansili (Danehill).
DUBAWI - OBLIGATE (FRANKEL)

The Gr.1-winning miler by Dubawi, from the iconic stallion-making family of Hasili
Debuting at stud this year is the top-class juvenile Magnum Force, who is a new addition to Ballyhane and will be available to breeders at €7,500.
The Ger Lyons-trained son of Mehmas, one of the most potent influences of juvenile speed around today, was beaten narrowly on debut over 6f at Naas, but bounced back to shed his maiden tag over the minimum trip at Cork a few weeks later. Consecutive trips to Britain followed and he was beaten just a neck when second in the Listed Roses Stakes at York before being placed third in the Gr.2 Flying Childers Stakes at Doncaster, both over 5f. On his final run as a juvenile, he made a successful voyage to the US and beat 11 rivals in the Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint. Behind him that day were the subsequent Gr.1 winners Arizona Blaze (Sergei Prokofiev; sire) and Big Mojo (Mohaather), as well as the likes of the Gr.1 Prix Morny Stakes winner Whistlejacket (No Nay Never; sire), the Flying Childers Stakes winner Aesterius (also by Mehmas; sire) and the Gr.2 Norfolk Stakes victor Shareholder (Not This Time).
He is out of the dual-winning Fastnet Rock mare Tropical Rock, a daughter of the Listed winner and Gr.3-placed Tropical Treat (Bahamian Bounty). The extended family includes the classy juvenile and sire Sri Pekan (Red Ransom).

Standing at Norton Grove Stud for a fee of £3,500, the Gr.1 July Cup winner Mayson will undertake stallion duties for a 14th year.
A son of Invincible Spirit, he showed early speed as a two-year-old, winning on his second start in a 5f maiden at Hamilton by five lengths before a narrow neck defeat in the Listed Ripon Champion Two Years Old Trophy. As a four-yearold, he enjoyed a productive start to his campaign at Newmarket, winning twice early in the season, with a decisive three and a half-length success in the Listed Abernant Stakes before capturing the Gr.3 Palace House Stakes on his next start. Newmarket would later provide the setting for his defining performance, when he claimed the track’s showpiece sprint, the Gr.1 July Cup, by an emphatic five lengths on the July course. His final appearance came in the Gr.1 Prix de l’Abbaye de Longchamp, where he finished a close neck second, before being retired to stud. He has since sired Oxted, another top-class sprinter who, like his sire, claimed the July Cup, as well as the Gr.2-winning sprinter Rohaan
Mayson is the only foal out of the unraced Pivotal mare Mayleaf, a half-sister to the Champion Two Years Old Trophy winner Bathwick Bear (Kodiac). The further family includes the Gr.1 Del Mar Oaks winner Singhalese (Singspiel).

Oasis Dream – Tahrir (Linamix)
HARAS DE MONTAIGU • Fee €18,000
One of France’s most successful steals from Britain, Muhaarar stands for a career-high French fee this season at €18,000, his fifth season in France and first at Haras de Montaigu.
The Champion Sprinter began his career at owner Hamdan Al Maktoum’s Nunnery Stud in Britain and has proven popular with French breeders since moving in 2022, climbing from an initial fee of €5,000. Winner of the Gr.2 Gimcrack Stakes at two, he won four Gr.1 sprints at three, culminating in a dominant performance in the Gr.1 British Champions Sprint Stakes on his final start.
Notably, his offspring have proved to be versatile, excelling over a variety of trips. He was well represented on the track around the world last season. His daughter Be Your Best landed the Gr.1 Gamely Stakes at Santa Anita and the Charlie Hills-trained Cicero’s Gift sprang a surprise in the Gr.1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes on British Champions Day, landing the spoils at a staggeringly big price.
The son of Oasis Dream has covered over 100 mares during each of his last three seasons. He is out of the winning Linamix mare Tahrir, a full-sister to the Listed winner Mister Charm and a half-sister to the sire and Gr.3 Prix de Guiche winner Mister Sacha (Tiger Hill). Muhaarar is a half-brother to three black-type horses, including the Listed (then) Dick Poole Stakes winner Sajwah (Exceed And Excel).
Blue Point – Rosaline (New Approach) DALHAM HALL STUD • Fee £40,000
Classic-winning champion miler Rosallion rates an exciting addition to the Darley roster for 2026.
Bred and owned by the late Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum and trained by Richard Hannon, Rosallion won in course record time on his two-year-old debut at Newbury. He took the Listed Pat Eddery Stakes by four lengths second time out before rebounding from a defeat in the Gr.2 Champagne Stakes to win the Gr.1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere, setting a new juvenile course record in the process. The strength of that form was underlined when the runner-up Unquestionable (Wootton Bassett) won the Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf on his very next start. Rosallion returned at three with an excellent second behind Notable Speech (Dubawi) in the Gr.1 2,000 Guineas, then secured the title of European Champion Three-Year-Old Miler with brilliant wins in the Gr.1 Irish 2,000 Guineas and Gr.1 St James’s Palace Stakes, defeating numerous Gr.1 winners along the way.
As good as ever when beaten in photo finishes in a trio of Gr.1s at four, the son of Blue Point now embarks on his stallion career with impeccable credentials. He is out of the unraced New Approach mare Rosaline, a full-sister to the Gr.2 Prix Daniel Wildenstein winner Ostilio and a threeparts-sister to the Gr.1 winners Triple Time (Frankel) and Ajman Princess (Teofilo), amongst several others.

Gleneagles – Enrol (Pivotal)
GENESIS GREEN STUD • Fee £6,000
The Gr.2 Richmond Stakes winner Royal Scotsman will commence his stallion career at Genesis Green Stud, standing for a fee of £6,000.
A son of Gleneagles, he showcased early promise as a juvenile, winning by five lengths on his second start at Goodwood in May. He returned to Goodwood a couple of months later to record his most significant success, which came in the Gr.2 Richmond Stakes in July. On his final appearance at two, he produced another strong effort when finishing a close head second to future Classic winner and sire Chaldean (Frankel) in the Gr.1 Dewhurst Stakes. At three, Royal Scotsman continued to perform well against the best colts of his generation, finishing third in the Gr.1 2,000 Guineas and continuing to compete in top-class company throughout the season. He remained in training at four and added a further Group success to his CV when winning the Gr.3 Diomed Stakes at Epsom, before being retired at the end of that campaign.
Royal Scotsman is a half-brother to the dual Gr.3 Ladies’ Purse winner and Gr.2 Sha Tin Trophy second Encountered (Churchill), out of the Listed-placed winner Enrol (Pivotal). He hails from the family of the Gr.1 Futurity Stakes-winning sire Bakharoff (The Minstrel) and the Gr.2 (then) Lockinge Stakes winner and sire Emperor Jones (Danzig).

– Kadiania (Indian Rocket)
Sands Of Mali made a Gr.1 breakthrough in 2025 to maintain the excellent start to his stallion career and now debuts at Yeomanstown Stud in Co Kildare at a fee of €22,500.
The son of Panis was a high-class sprinter for trainer Richard Fahey, winning the Gr.2 Gimcrack Stakes during his juvenile season and the Gr.3 Prix Sigy, Gr.2 Sandy Lane Stakes and Gr.1 British Champions Sprint Stakes at three. Sold for 600,000gns to dissolve a partnership midway through his racing career, he retired in 2021, and his first runners appeared on racecourses in 2024 to immediate acclaim.
His first crop got off to a flying start when Ain’t Nobody won the Listed Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot. Ellaria Sand went on to win the Listed Radley Stakes later the same season, while Time For Sandals won the Gr.1 Commonwealth Cup (a race in which Sands Of Mali had finished second) and Copacabana Sands lifted the Gr.3 Ballycorus Stakes as three-year-olds. His second crop included the dual Listed winner Ipanema Queen, and his latest intake of two-yearolds includes Book 1 yearlings that sold for up to 220,000gns.
With the clamour for his services increasing year upon year, Sands Of Mali covered almost 190 mares in 2025. A total outcross, much like his esteemed new studmate Dark Angel, this remains a good time to invest in a sire whose profile can continue to grow in the seasons ahead.

Mehmas – Fidaaha (New Approach)
BARTON • Fee
£8,500
Barton begins an exciting new stallion venture with the beautifully bred Gr.1 National Stakes victor Scorthy Champ. He debuts at a fee of £8,500.
The precocious son of Mehmas was trained by Joseph O’Brien to win a Leopardstown maiden on his racecourse debut. That proved to be an exceptional piece of form, as the future Gr.1 Futurity Trophy Stakes winner Hotazhell (Too Darn Hot) and the Gr.1-placed Mount Kilimanjaro (Siyouni) both finished several lengths in arrears. Third behind Henri Matisse (Wootton Bassett) in the Gr.2 Futurity Stakes on his second outing, Scorthy Champ then reversed form with the subsequent Gr.1 Poule d’Essai des Poulains winner by producing a brilliant display to win the National Stakes in the fastest time since champion Pinatubo (Shamardal) in 2019.
The highest-rated two-year-old to retire to Britain for 2026, Scorthy Champ’s impressive racing record is backed up by an outstanding pedigree. He is a full-brother to the Gr.2 Criterium de Maisons-Laffitte winner and Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf second Malavath and the Gr.3 Horris Hill Stakes winner Knight. They are out of the lightly-raced Fidaaha (New Approach), a full-sister to the US Gr.3 winner Ceisteach and a half-sister to the Gr.3 Killavullan Stakes winner and Gr.1-placed Steip Amach (Vocalised), plus the dam of the Gr.3 Gordon Stakes winner Merchant (Teofilo).

Lope De Vega – Winters Moon (New Approach) KILDANGAN STUD • Fee €17,500
New to Kildangan Stud this season is the dual Gr.1-winning Champion Two-Year-Old Shadow Of Light.
The now four-year-old son of Lope De Vega made a winning debut for Charlie Appleby in the July of his juvenile season and comfortably won a novice under a penalty on his second start. Although he would lose his unbeaten record when second in the Gr.2 Gimcrack Stakes, brilliant wins in the 6f Gr.1 Middle Park Stakes and 7f Gr.1 Dewhurst Stakes (making him just the second horse this century to complete the double) secured championship honours. In the Middle Park Stakes, he finished four lengths in front of the Gr.1 Prix Morny winner Whistlejacket (No Nay Never), while in the Dewhurst Stakes he completed the course in a faster time than his brilliant grandsire Shamardal (Giant’s Causeway). Although limited to just four outings as a three-year-old, Shadow Of Light led until near the finish when third in the Gr.1 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket and was beaten by just half a length when fourth in the Gr.1 Prix Jean Prat.
A Godolphin homebred, his stallion prospects are boosted by a magnificent pedigree. He is out of the Gr.1 Fillies’ Mile third Winters Moon (New Approach), whose three other winners are headed by the twice Gr.1-winning French Champion Two-Year-Old Colt and fellow sire Earthlight (Shamardal; also winner of the Middle Park Stakes).

Having been previously based at Ace Stud, the Gr.2 Flying Childers Stakes and Gr.1-placed Soldier’s Call will stand his first season at Mickley Stud for a fee of £3,500 in 2026.
The son of Showcasing made a quick start to his racing career, winning the Listed Windsor Castle Stakes on his third start. That success marked the beginning of a productive juvenile campaign, during which he also landed the Gr.3 Prix d’Arenberg and Gr.2 Flying Childers Stakes. He rounded off his two-year-old season with a strong performance at the highest level when finishing a close third in the Gr.1 Prix de l’Abbaye de Longchamp in the autumn, finishing ahead of star sprinter Battaash (Dark Angel). He continued to compete with distinction in elite sprint company at three, finishing third in the Gr.1 King’s Stand Stakes and runner-up in the Gr.1 Nunthorpe Stakes.
Soldier’s Call is the sire of 12 black-type horses to date, led by the Gr.3 Prix Eclipse winner Dawn Charger and Listed winners Kaadi and Arugam Bay. Further Group-placed progeny include Monello Sabino, Muqtahem, Dorothy Lawrence and War Bride.

Teofilo – Reckoning (Danehill Dancer) CHAPEL STUD • Fee £3,500
Embarking on his third season at stud, the dual Gr.1 winner Subjectivist will stand at Chapel Stud for a reduced fee of £3,500.
The son of Teofilo showed early ability, winning by seven lengths on his third start as a juvenile before finishing runnerup in the Listed Stonehenge Stakes. He continued to progress at three, winning the Listed Glasgow Stakes in July before registering his first Group success in decisive fashion when winning the Gr.3 March Stakes by 15 lengths. His season was capped by his victory in the Gr.1 Prix Royal-Oak, a maiden toplevel success and the standout victory of his three-year-old campaign. That momentum carried into his four-year-old season, where he produced a dominant display to capture the Gr.2 Dubai Gold Cup by five and three-quarter lengths. Subjectivist would later reach the pinnacle of his career at Royal Ascot, where he delivered a commanding performance to defeat a Gr.1 Gold Cup field that included Stradivarius (Sea The Stars; sire) winning by five lengths. On his final career start, he was placed third in the Gold Cup as a six-year-old. He is a half-brother to the dual Gr.2 winner and Gr.1-placed sire Sir Ron Priestley (Australia), out of the Listed-placed winner Reckoning (Danehill Dancer). Wootton Bassett – Miss Lech (Giant’s Causeway) CAPITAL STUD • Fee €7,500
The Gr.2 Challenge Stakes winner Topgear will begin his stallion career at Capital Stud in 2026, standing for a fee of €7,500.
A son of the influential sire Wootton Bassett, he showed high-class ability across four seasons. He was unbeaten as a two-year-old and won the 1200m Gr.3 Prix Eclipse on his third start. After missing his three-year-old campaign, he returned to win over 1400m at four and became a consistent performer at Stakes level, including a second-placed finish behind Gr.1 winner Tribalist (Farhh) in the 1600m Gr.3 Prix Bertrand du Breuil. He hit a career peak at five, winning the Gr.3 Prix du Pin before landing his biggest victory in the Challenge Stakes at Newmarket by five and a half lengths, beating the likes of sires Royal Scotsman (Gleneagles) and Shouldvebeenaring (Havana Grey), as well as Witness Stand (Expert Eye). He followed that with a win in the Gr.3 Prix du Palais-Royal, beating subsequent Gr.1 Prix Maurice de Gheest winner Sajir (Make Believe) by a length and three quarters.
A €200,000 purchase at the Arqana Select Yearling Sale, he is out of the winning Giant’s Causeway mare Miss Lech and hails from the family of the Gr.2 Strub Stakes-winning sire Guilt Trip (Pulpit).

A new addition to Co. Cork’s Rathbarry Stud for 2026 is Unquestionable, a Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf-winning son of Wootton Bassett
Trained for the first eight starts of his career by Aidan O’Brien, he made a promising debut for the Coolmore partners and Al Shaqab Racing by finishing third in the 5f Listed First Flier Stakes at the Curragh, before showing improvement to get off the mark on his next start when stepped up in trip. He was then beaten by just a short head by the subsequent Gr.1 Phoenix Stakes winner Bucanero Fuerte (Wootton Bassett) in the Gr.2 Railway Stakes, before running fourth in the aforementioned Phoenix Stakes. Come the autumn, he was stepped up to 1400m and ran well to finish runner-up to future Classic winner Rosallion (Blue Point; sire) in the Gr.1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere. On his final start as a juvenile, he earned his career highlight when landing the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf at Santa Anita. As a three-year-old, he ran fourth in both the Gr.1 Irish 2,000 Guineas and Gr.1 St James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.
A €340,000 Arqana August Yearling Sale purchase, he is out of the Sea The Stars mare Strawberry Lace and hails from the stallion-making Best In Show family of the likes of Cityscape, Bated Breath and Redoute’s Choice
