Located at the Pièce d'eau des Suisses, this underground summer residence combines different durability in its choice of materials, questioning the chronology of a site. This duality explores the evolution of architecture through time, from its creation to its possible ruin, in a house that is both open and closed.

A theatre of domestic life through its mass, concrete integrates uses shaped by the ground's topography, while the light wooden structure allows light to pass through the skylights and encloses two intimate units.

This underground cellular habitat, made from excavation waste clay bricks, functions as a living organism that can evolve from the village to the city. Under a palm grove, a staircase runs through it and the structure in 3 levels: public, common and private depths. Sharing a courtyard, each of the dwelling rooms have a precise DNA by their uses defined by cavities adapted to the human body. Taking the codes of Bam, this habitat seeks to take root in its territory. Thomas Etchanchu

This wooden structure at an isolated crossroads fosters symbiosis with its environment and users. Its modular, rail-based design supports diverse functions of urban agriculture to emergency housing. The porous roof mimics living skin, collecting and filtering the water in clay pots, aiding local biodiversity and urban dynamism.

The void only makes sense if it's in coproduction with the full. Its typology and the uses that take place there define it. These voids, which we call vacant spaces, have the objective of making the living cohabit: man and nature. Their analysis therefore makes it possible to grasp the stakes and the impact they have on the community at different scales. The purpose is to purify the voids, push their special qualities to their climax to encourage social and environmental development: as a vector of meeting, utilities, leisure and landscape. The city is an organism, the streets its veins and the voids its lungs.

$Give the ground back to the city through the conservation of a historically and socially anchored place%. The challenge here is to reuse this pre-existing connection to the urban and to the citizens in order to continue its story and propose a theatre offer, at the service of the community and the territory. What is home, and how can architects shape it? By gathering testimonials on "home", which revealed the diversity of perceptions, two archetypes transform this office building into housing. The doorstep, with a street accessible to all, fosters community by creating a meeting space. The earth, at the service of the body, comfort and heritage, manifests itself in the earth walls between the apartments. Preserved cores create micro-residences. These experimental homes explore the ways in which individuals can hijack architecture. Thus, if housing is essential to the health of a society, the architect must adopt a humble and benevolent posture to create architecture that tells the story of the Other's home.
