Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) yesterday, rejected insinuations by the management of the Dangote Refinery that it was failing in its duty as the
upstream regulator to effectively enforce the Domestic Crude Supply Obligation (DCSO). But in response to the upstream
regulatory body, Dangote Petroleum Refinery urged the NUPRC to enforce the domestic crude supply obligation as specified in the Petroleum Industry
Act (PIA), insisting that refineries in Nigeria should be allowed to buy crude directly from companies that produce it in the country, rather than
