Dangote Refinery has debunked a report that the $19 billion refinery had been reselling Nigerian and United

States’ crude oil at the facility due to the malfunctioning of its Crude Distillation Unit (CDU), clarifying

that its CDU is fully operational and functioning optimally. The Northern Elders Forum (NEF)

has also warned against any attempt to frustrate the operations of the refinery, describing such attempt as an ill-wind

challenges in the northern part of the country were being influenced by both external and internal factors such as the proliferation of small arms and light weapons, political

instability, and socio-economic factors like poverty and inequality. Musa, who spoke as a guest speaker at the Institute of Development Research and Training,
