Tinubu, 11 African Leaders Sign Dar es Salaam Declaration for Electricity Access to 300m Africans by 2030 Acknowledges AfDB's $1.1 billion support for provision of electricity to 5 million Nigerians by 2026

President Bola Tinubu has concluded his visit to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania,

where he joined other African leaders to participate in the Mission 300 Africa Energy Summit. Tinubu and his team arrived on

Sunday for the two-day summit, hosted by the government of Tanzania, in collaboration with African Union, African Development Bank

(AfDB), and World Bank Group. The declaration, according to a release issued by presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga,

focused on providing access to electricity for 300 million people in Africa by 2030. A high point of the event was

the disintegration of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). National Publicity Secretary of
