(NUPRC) yesterday disclosed that Nigeria achieved a ‘rare’ energy milestone in July 2025 as daily gas production rose by 8.58 per cent from the 6.99
billion standard cubic feet per day (bscf/d) recorded in the full year of 2024 to hit 7.59 bscf/d in July 2025. In its gas data for July 2025,
released yesterday, NUPRC said gas flaring fell to 7.16 per cent in July 2025, down from 7.55 per cent in 2024 and 7.38 per cent in the corresponding period of 2023.
The regulator stated that the simultaneous growth in output and decline in flaring underscored its drive to boost production while advancing its 2030 zero-flare

The Kaduna State Police Command has launched a full-scale investigation
