The federal government yesterday commenced the long-awaited reconstruction of

the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano highway in Jere, Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna

State, North-west Nigeria. Speaking during the ceremony, the Minister of Works, David

Umahi, stated that N777 billion would be spent to complete the 282 kilometres that are still
