I’m Juan from Bolivia. I’m an Indian boy. My name means ‘God is gracious’. I’ve got dark, straight hair, my skin is tanned and I’m rather short. I always wear jeans and a T-shirt. I like the traditional, colourful clothes of Bolivia. Men and boys normally wear long trousers made of wool, with a white shirt and a striped poncho. Boys sometimes wear caps with long ear flaps. That’s a funny sight! Women wear colourful skirts and ponchos, and very often a hat.

Draw a person, a robot or a monster on a piece of paper. Describe your drawing. Use phrases like: he / she / it is …, he / she / it has got … and he / she is wearing … For example: My monster is fat and tall. He has got a big round head with five eyes, a large mouth and large teeth. He has got short (spiky) hair and three ears. He has got five arms and two short legs. He is wearing shorts, a T-shirt and boots. Now work in pairs. Read your text to a classmate. Do it one sentence at a time so that he or she can draw it.
