During the protest of the People's Alliance for Democracy in 2008, at the end of the same year, the Bangkok Art and Culture Center (BACC) held an exhibition, "Traces of Siamese Smile: Art + Faith + Politics + Love" by the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, Ministry of Culture. It is considered a significant international exhibition that gathers both Thai and foreign artists who are internationally famous. There were over 300 pieces of work by 111 artists, including Prince Narisranuwattiwong, Silpa Bhirasri, Montien Boonma, Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Louise Bourgeois, and Marina Abramovic. This catalog explores the concepts that drive the exhibition and images of the exhibited artworks.
