On the morning of Saturday, June 17, 1995, Bangkok had the op- portunity to welcome two world-renowned architects and an architectural theorist - Peter Eisenman, Arata Isozaki, and Jef- frey Kipnis - at a special lecture entitled Bangkok Internation- al Architecture Symposium (BIAS1995), as an early launch event of Architects' 39.
That was the origin of a particular roundtable discussion that same afternoon, which is the origin of the title of this special book published by art4d. Eisenman, Isozaki, and Kipnis sat in a chat with the editorial team of art4d, with a few special guests of the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Pa- tronage, including Dr. Sumet Jumsai. art4d recorded the con- versation that afternoon and compiled some of the critical points in this book.
