2025-2026 LEVEL I INFORMATION FORM Level I Excursions are those which take students to familiar settings within the local area for day­time activities which expose students to risks typically encountered in everyday living or while at school and which involve local transportation ­either by walking, subway, city bus, school bus, or taxi. Examples of Level I Excursions: trips to museums, local parks, a local store or neighbourhood, a library, an art studio, a concert hall, a theatre, another school, or athletic facility. Parental consent for Level I Excursions is given at the beginning of each school year.

Friday Feb. 6th, 2025, 7:30am - 4:00pm Walking between the York School and UCC Leave the York School at 7:45am- Meet at front entrance Leave UCC at 3:00pm to return to York School by 3:30pm Students may leave directly from UCC if parents email Ms. Rowell prior to event by Wednesday Feb. 4, 2026

Special Considerations and What to Bring: Sun Protection: Where a trip involves your child being outside between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, or the UV rating is predicted to be 3 or greater, remind parents to provide children with the following: sunscreen, hat and water bottle. Sunglasses that protect against UV-A and UV-B rays are also recommended.

We will be walking to UCC. Please make sure students are dressed for the weather. A winter coat, hat, mittens, scarves, now boots should be worn on the day of the trip. York School Uniform is a requirement. Lunch is provided. Please alert Ms. Rowell to any dietary concerns by Friday Jan 23, 2026
