How A Simple Idea Turned Into A

800,000 Php In 24 Hrs, Then Turned

Into An Empire Years Later

In 2020, when I was at my apartment in Quezon City,

I received a shocking announcement that changed my life.

Back then, I was running a business selling someone else’s product, making P1M a month.

Things were going pretty well until the founders told us something unexpected.

The Securities and Exchange Commission demanded to close the company.

I felt shocked, like someone pulled the rug out from under me.

I was making a million a month, and suddenly, just like that, everything’s gone.

I felt frustrated, like being stuck in quicksand.

No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't fix it.

The company was my big break, but now it's gone.

I felt hopeless, like being lost at sea without a paddle.

All my plans, all my dreams, gone in a flash.

Now I'm broke, with no idea how to face

3000+ customers.

That was how many people I needed to explain to.

That was the number of people demanding refunds.

That was the number of people complaining and angry about what happened.

It felt like I betrayed them because they counted on me.

I had seen it coming, yet I brushed off the idea.

We’re already receiving complaints of products not arriving on schedule.

Yet, I trusted the owners that they’d fix it, as they usually do.

So I still continued selling…

Little did I know that the business was at a point beyond fixing.

And I was not aware, not even having a hint, that the company would close down.

The worst part?

My customers did not spare me from their harsh words and rage.

They thought I had scammed them.

“Tama pakiramdam ko nung una na sa una ka lang magaling”

“Ipapatulfo ka namin!” (sikat pa siya that time)

“Manloloko ka lang pala!”

Para akong sinukluban ng langit.

I felt scared for my life, as people were threatening me, left and right

I’m ashamed to face people because I feel responsible for their loss, and I can't provide a solution or compensation

I felt sad because no one understand that I was only an affiliate of the product

Hindi ako yung may-ari. Pero parang ako yung may kasalanan.

What made it even worse was that most demanded their refunds…

Pero paano?

20-30% lang commission ko per sale. Tapos gusto nila ibalik ko ng buo 100%.

I have no way to refund their money 100%. Kasi wala na din akong pera that time.

Ang masaklap pa…

This all happened during the pandemic, when the world came to a halt.

Most people were anxious, furious, and scared because they had no idea how to survive.

This increased their anxiety level and threatened me more with giving them refunds.

So, I did.

I ended up refunding my customers.

For 6 months, I felt like the world was on my shoulders.

I was stuck in a rut, and I gained 50 pounds.

Whenever I awoke, I would play PlayStation 5 games, sing karaoke to my worries, and eat my way through the day to alleviate my stress. It was until one day, I wanted to play with my dog, Shawer I noticed he wasn't his usual playful self.

He moved slowly and seemed really tired. When he looked at me, his eyes seemed to say he didn't feel good.

It was clear Shawer needed to see the doctor to get better.

I told myself:

“Padalin sa doctor! … But wait… may pambayad ba ako? Oh no... I never looked at how much money I had left.”

And that’s when it hit me… problem na naman ang pera?

This made me feel incapable, knowing I couldn't help Shawer, my dog, really hurt me.

I felt useless because I couldn't take care of the ones who need me.

It's like I'm not even sure what I'm here for anymore.

I feel like I'm not doing a good job as a man, wondering what I'm even good for.

Not being able to do the basic stuff, like keeping everyone safe and okay, really bothers me.

After reflecting on this moment, sabi ko…

Enough is enough.

That’s when I looked for opportunities to sell.

I asked myself ano ba kaya kong gawin na pwede i-monetize?

● I know how to run ads.

● I know how to create funnels.

● In know how to write simple copy.

I committed to finding ways to earn money for the next few months.

I tried selling Takoyaki pans

I made money, BUT I hated stocking inventories in my room

So, I tried to look for more opportunities I can try.

One time, my friend, Clive, invited me to a free training about Forex trading.

I agreed, so I attended.

That was when I first met Job Zamora.

He's the simplest forex trader I’ve met. Hindi expert, hindi nerd, sobrang simple lang.

Pero grabe mag-produce ng resulta sa Forex.

Then one day, after the training, he sent me a message to invite me to join his program.

I dodged the question and asked, “Do you have an optin page, email list, ads?”

Sabi niya, “I have zero idea what those are. I only have the modules of the course already created. And that’s what I’m trying to sell. Kaso, we attracted people who consumed our free sessions but never bought anything. ”

Because I have enough skills and experience, tinuruan ko siya paano gawin yun lahat

From optin page, emails, up to ads.

Then one time,

Because of his excitement seeing the movement on what we’re working on,

Out of nowhere, sabi niya: “Mag-partner na lang tayo.”

Sabi ko, “Sige!”

We realized this was the perfect match to create income together. .

Me, as the marketer who makes his program sell, and Job, as the Forex trader who does the teaching.

Going through the motion, we realized, it was much more difficult than we anticipated.

There were challenges we encountered along the way:

● We struggled to determine what topics people would be interested in, that we could include in our course. This left us feeling uncertain about how to make this work.

● We don't know how to create content that attract the right people to enroll in our program. This makes us feel clueless as to what step we should take next

● Finally, we don't know how to close them to paying students at a premium price, without having buyer's remorse. We feel like we’re missing something that will help us work with committed, action takers.

Sa totoo lang, I wish I could tell you may na discover akong hack or magic para ma solve lahat to ng mabilisan.

But truth is…

Nag invest ako ng millions of pesos sa mga international mentors and masterminds over the months, to find solutions to our problems. Lahat yun premium. In fact…

At one point, b pesos para makausap siy

Because we ha we commit to taking action and implementing whatever our mentors have to say, so we can make it work.

May mga times na nagkakamali din, pero it was all part of the process. Until, eventually, we figured it out.

We began to get clear on our program.

We started attracting and enrolling students.

And, even better, we turned them into raving fans.

When we started implementing these, we noticed the elements needed to create a program that sells.

And because of what we learned, here’s how things are now…

● We went from struggling to determine what topics to include in our program, to being able to create the perfect program effortlessly that people love to enroll in.

● We shifted from not knowing how to create content that attract the right people to writing proven content that attract the right enrollees for our program This excites us even more because we’re not getting tire-kickers and freeloaders in our program, only high-quality ones.

● Finally, we went from not knowing how to turn them into paying students, to easily closing 8 premium students paying 100K+ each, all without buyer's remorse. We feel like we found

the missing piece that makes it easy for us to create results and success stories with them.

Every piece of our course started falling into place.

This approach led us to get 313 students paying 250K pesos each.

+ This made us feel accomplished.

Our students are finally taking action. They took our program seriously. They are producing massive results.

Because of that,

We constantly received “thank you” messages from them for impacting their lives and even creating many success stories in the process. Napaka-fulfilling.

As I write this, in 2024, I’ve sold over 9 figures on the internet, and it’s because I attribute a big part of this to turning knowledge or expertise into a program you can sell and teach.

“My name is Ots Jimenez, and I believe that if you know a thing or two that solves a bigger problem and turn it into a program you can sell and teach, then you will never go broke.”

I’m so grateful for my experiences because I was able to create an empire of 15,000+ members and 300+ premium students with the knowledge of my friend, And that’s why I decided to write this guide to show how others can do it as well.

Before you dive deep into the PDF,

I’m going to show you some results from some of my clients who exactly implemented the strategies.

Starting from a raw idea, into a program that they started monetizing before they could even build and teach.

A Curiosity Post That Made P800K In Just 24 Hours

Let me tell you a story about a group of gamers who created a game that became the No. 1 RPG game in 2024.

The gamers named the game the "Last Epoch".

Alam mo ba kung pano nila ginawa yung game ng hindi sila nag iisip on how to create it from start to finish?

Out of an idea or curiosity, nag post sila sa reddit.

It's a community wherein nagsabi sila na,

"If gagawa kami ng game, would you help us create it?"

Kayo magsasabi, kami mag bi-build…

And what happened for a certain amount of time,

Nakapag build sila ng interest, ng community, and people na tinutulungan sila.

As a result, when it was time to release, tinalo nila ang usually'ng nananalo sa gaming industry which is yung Diablo 4.

Pano nila ginawa yun?

Inimpliment lang nila ang "sell before build"

The Sell Before Build Formula

The principle is simple…

You sell the idea first before you build any building blocks of the program.

That way, you don’t waste time building the program And find out later on na wala palang may interest sa program.

The Sell Before Build Formula Is Divided Into Three Parts:

● Step 1: Create a Curiosity Post.Step 1 entails crafting a curiosity post to gauge interest in a forthcoming guide or resource, by sharing personal success or results achieved in a specific business or career.

This step aims to identify potential interest from the audience by inviting them to express their desire for a copy of the guide once it is available, thereby laying the groundwork for future engagement.

● Step 2. Reach Out To Those Who Raise Their Hands.

Step 2 involves directly reaching out to individuals who have shown interest in your idea, such as those who commented on your posts, to understand their specific situations and problems

This engagement helps in refining your raw idea into a more targeted program by identifying if and how you can assist

them, based on their needs and the impact of their problems in terms of wealth, health, and relationships.

● Step 3. Create an Offer Step 3 focuses on creating a tailored offer based on the insights gathered from engaging with interested individuals.

This approach, known as the Sell Before Build Formula, involves proposing a solution to their problems (in areas such as money, health, and relationships) before the program is fully developed, thereby securing permission to sell and tailoring the service or product to meet their specific needs and preferences

Define The Idea

First, we have to define the idea…

Know what exactly you're capable of helping people with.

This stage emphasizes self-reflection and a deep understanding of your own experiences and capabilities in solving specific problems.

The aim is to establish a clear starting point that identifies your strengths and areas of expertise.

So naging idea namin is,

“Kung tinuro ba namin ito sa mga maraming tao at binigyan namin sila ng support, meron bang makikinig? Meron bang gustong mag enroll sa program?”

Sa case namin, kaya namin mag turo ng Forex Trading,

Then, what problem does it solve?

It helps people who struggle with growing their money,

And we found out that those who had that problem were busy professionals…

But take note, this was a guess palang, It doesn’t have to be perfect, it doesn’t have to be correct.

Action Step: Ask yourself these questions.

Ano yung nagawa ko na?

Ano yung problem na kaya kong i-solve?

At sinong pwedeng mag benefit?

Now that na dialed na natin yung idea, we want to test the demand.

We do this by creating a curiosity post sa social media.

Step 1: Create a Curiosity Post.

This step involves the strategic creation of an engaging curiosity post designed to pique the audience's interest in an upcoming guide or resource.

You tell a story about your own success or big wins in your job or business.

The goal is to get people excited and curious, so they'll say they want your guide before it's even out.

By asking people to show they're interested, you start building a group of people who can't wait to see what you've got to share.

The post looks like this.

"For those who don't know, I have been a [business or career] for [number of years] years. Last year, I made [amount or result].

In fact, in [period or time reference], I made [amount or result], sitting in front of a computer helping others complete their tasks.

If you want to know how to do this, I'm putting up a guide kung paano ito gawin.

I'd like to know if there's anyone who would like to get a copy when it's out.

Comment "me" if this is you."

Here's another framework you can use:

"Hey, I've done this thing. Here's a picture of me. and now I'm [insert result].

Now, I'm thinking of writing a guide or a video on how anyone else can do this.

But I would like to know exactly anong ilalagay ko dito. If you'd like a copy when it's ready, just comment "Me."

Here’s How We Did It

Sa TMT, nagsulat lang kami out of curiosity kung meron bang gustong mag enroll sa program namin kung tinuro namin pano kumita ng malaki sa Forex Trading na merong 1-on-1 coaching, merong feedback, and everything else.

The reason why pinost namin to is para makita namin kung meron bang magpapakita ng interest…

So, sa baba nito, eto yung itsura nung post namin.

After 24 hours, tinignan namin kung merong interest.

As a result, meron kaming nakitang 52 comments.

The reason why these frameworks work so well is because you are announcing na naka-solve ka ng problem.

And kapag nakapag solve ka ng problem,

There's a high chance na may malaking population na meron ding problem na yun.

And if nasolve mo yung problem na yun, they perceived you na agad na expert sa field na yun.

If they want to learn from you para masolve yung problem na yun, they will engage.

This allows you to test your raw idea if it's a good idea to move forward and turn this into a product.

Ganun lang kasimple magtest ng raw idea into a product.

Here are other examples:

You're probably wondering anong gagawin sa guide, video or ebook?

The truth is, for now, hindi mo muna siya kailangang gawin.

Wala muna talagang io-offer sa kanila.

The reason why wala muna kasi, we want to make sure na proven na muna yung idea mo.

So, remember yung idea mo or yung problem na gusto mo i-solve will always fall under wealth, health and relationship.

Wealth - i.e. creating more money, multiplying your money, generating more sales sa businesses

Health - i.e. losing weight, gaining more muscles, improving focus

Relationship - i.e. getting your ex back, saving your marriage, making your relationship stronger

Step 2. Reach Out To Those Who Raised Their Hands.

And at the same time,

Malaman natin kung kaya ba natin sila tulungan based sa situation nila.

By doing that, we will get a clear idea kung paano magiging program ang raw idea natin.

FIRST. Iisa-isahin natin yung mga nagcomment and just say something like:

"Hello, thank you sa comment mo on my post about (topic). As I make my guide or book, I wanna make sure that it's fit sa situation mo and it really solves your problem. So, with that said, can I ask you a couple of questions, so that I can make sure that it helps you."

The reason why it is so effective is because, bago ka magtanong ng question sa kanya, Alam na kaagad niya kung ano yung benefit, Kung bakit siya makikipag-engage sayo. So meron siyang existing problem, so ikaw, you just offer na magtatanong ka ng question so that yung guide makakahelp sa kanya,

It would be a worthy investment for him/her na sumagot sa mga questions mo.

SECOND. Pag pumayag na siya, ask the problem.

"What's your biggest problem with the (topic)?"

What will happen here is ikukuwento nila kung ano yung problem nila.

When they tell you their response to the question,

Just say "got it/ gets kita/thank you" once they're done.

THIRD. From there, we wanna make sure na kapag nalaman natin yung problem, we will ask the cost.

"Ano yung nawawala sayo on a daily/monthly/yearly basis dahil dala dala mo yung problema na to?"

"What do you think this problem is costing you?"

Pwede mo tanungin in terms of wealth, health, and relationship.

Ang pwedeng sagot nila dito ay:

"It's costing me sales sa business dahil hindi ko masolve itong problem na to."

"It's costing me na hindi makapagbonding sa anak ko kasi hindi conditioned yung katawan ko."

"It's costing me my relationship with my wife kasi nauubos na ang oras ko sa work."

FOURTH. And then ask: "how long have you been trying to solve this problem?"

FIFTH. After mo makakuha ng data, from here pwede mo na sila iprompt: "If you have this problem solved, how much [insert desired outcome]?"

"If you have this problem solved, how much money would you have gained?"

"If you have this problem solved, how much muscle would you have gained?"

"If you have this problem solved, how happy would you feel if you got your wife back?"

So, magsasabi na sila ng specific number. Take note, it is crucial na mag-quantify.

"Siguro kung nasolve ko na yung problem ko na to, kumita na ako ng extra 1million per month."

"Siguro kung nasolve ko na yung problem ko na to, meron na akong 10 ponds of muscles."

"Siguro kung nasolve ko na yung problem ko na to, nagkabalikan na kami ng wife ko"

Then from there, what you'll do here, is ifi-flip mo na yung cost.

Kanina pinag usapan natin yung gain.

We will use it to position the cost of not solving their problem.

SIXTH. Now, make them realize yung gain na makukuha sana nila kung masosolve yung problema.

"Not solving this problem is costing you [what they'll gain]."

This is very important kasi marerealize nila yung mga opportunities na namimiss nila at hindi nila na-aaccess because they don't solve the problem.

Once we say the price of our program,

Madali na agad icompare yung price sa cost of not having this problem solved.

Carrying a problem always has a cost.

Meron siyang quantifiable data in terms of money, health, and relationship.

That's why pwede tayong makapag pitch ng price later on at magkaroon ng student just because they realize na meron silang problem that has a price in it.

Tapos, by the time na natanong na namin yung mga right questions…

Ibig sabihin, in 1 year…

Having this problem not solved, it’s costing them P1.2M a year.

Now that nakuha na natin yung cost ng problem na meron sila, makakapunta na tayo sa next milestone natin…

Step 3. Create an Offer

The good thing about is,

This is the Sell Before Build Formula.

So, the next step is to ask them,

"if I can help you solve this problem, worth it ba na magkaron tayo ng conversation or mag hop on a call or magkaron ng short chat?”

Yung problem na tinutukoy ko ay in terms of money, health, and relationship.

Ang best thing dito ay, by the time that they say yes,

We instantly have the permission to sell to them.

The reason why this is so important is ang daming nagpi-pitch ng offer ng hindi naman sila nabibigyan ng permission na magbenta. Kaya nagmumukhang forced selling.

Now, what I would like to do from here, is kapag umoo na sila, I'll ask:

"If I help you personally get this result, to solve your problem, how would it be best to get you this result?"

Usually ang sasabihin nila dyan ay…

"Gusto ko sana ng coaching dito."

“Gusto ko magkaron ako ng nutrition plan.”

“May maka weekly coaching.”

“Gusto ko ng ebook. Or sana merong community.”

“May maka mastermind ako.”

It's very specific sa kausap mo. Paiba iba yan.

Ang sasabihin mo is,

"Got it. Thank you for saying. Well, the good news is, that's exactly what I do. Is there anything else na gusto mong makuhang support so that I could help you get that result?"

From here, you allow them to say it.

Alam mong magplay yung imagination nila.

Kasi usually yung sinasabi nila would speak to a thousand other people as well.

And you use this data to create the program later on.

Once clear and organized na yung sinabi nilang gusto nila, like coaching, modules or group coaching, dito na tayo magsisimula magcreate ng offer.

For example, may sales ka na before sa existing program mo, and gusto mo lang ay more sales, all you have to do is ask, "meron ka pa bang questions bago ka makapag-enroll?"

Kapag sinabi nilang magkano ba?

Then, that's the only time you'll tell the price.

Sabihin mo lang if it's P50K. Or P150K. Or P30K.

Depende sa level na kaya mo.

And as you do this ng paulit ulit, pwede siyang tumaas.

If wala ka pa namang sale at hindi ka pa nagkakaron ng confidence and meron kang imposter syndrome, here's what you can do.

Nung unang time na ginawa ko to, I said,

"I'll help you solve this problem for free. but I want a case study."

The reason why gusto mo magshoot ng case study is because pwede mong ibenta yung result na nakuha mo sa client na to so that makita ng iba,

"Okay, I will help you get this result. You only pay me kapag nabigyan kita ng result. That way, it gives them certainty na babayaran ka lang nila once natapos na kayo sa pag-implement ng program mo.”.

We did the same thing sa TMT.

Pero after namin tong i-implement,

On that day nakapag generate kami 8 students na nagbayad ng P100K each sa program na yun.

And ang nakakatuwa,

Because of this process,

We were able to get 313 students who gladly paid 250K each.

Remember, you sell the idea first before you build any building blocks of the program.

Eto lang talaga yun. Simple diba?

Here are more samples that show how it looks like.
