Well, the last few months have been challenging, not only for our club, but more importantly for you, our loyal members, guests and our amazing staff. Navigating our way through the reopening of the QLD borders, with high daily case numbers being reported (that we had not seen in QLD), certainly stretched our human resources. The changes made to quarantine and close contact rules changing frequently, meant increasing pressure to continue to offer a high standard of customer service to each one of our members, but the team here at your club stood up every day and delivered the high level of service you deserve. Then of course we had to deal with the wild weather that impacted so many people here on the coast. The rain and storms were relentless and never looked like stopping. Our hearts and best wishes go out to everyone that has been affected by this weather event. We did however notice that our brand-new carpark was popular during the wet times as our waterproof shading assisted in keeping our members and visitors that little bit drier. So, with this almost behind us now, and all restrictions bar one being lifted, its time to bring back the action and change up our daily activities from April 1, 2022. There is a lot of exciting new things happening around the club and we can’t wait for you to see it here in the April/ May edition of ClubChat. In the bistro we have a new Autumn/Winter Menu that will certainly test your taste buds. Don’t worry we have kept some of your favourites, however they are accompanied by some exciting new dishes that our
talented chefs have created just for you. See page 9 for our new menu. We have also brought back our Café menu available daily for those people after a little something between lunch and dinner. In the bar we have introduced our beer and RTD for the months of April and May. Plus announced we are extending our Happy Hour days to six days a week (see page 5). After the last couple of years we want to spoil our members with more promotions around the club to say thank you for your support. We have introduced a second night of raffles (see page 15). Our famous birthday draw is returning as of April. This is our way of saying Happy Birthday from us to you. Plus, every Saturday night our membership draw is back bigger and better than ever (see page 13). On top of these we have also introduced two new and very exciting gaming promotions in our Waves gaming room (see page 14). And of course, we can’t forget Easter. With Easter fast approaching once again we are doing our popular Easter Hamper Giveaway at the club. Make sure to check out the 10 beautiful hampers next time you are visiting the club (see page 7). There is a lot happening the next two months and we cannot wait. I hope you enjoy our April/May edition of ClubChat.
