This issue of ClubChat is full of fantastic food and beverage offers and exciting promotions happening in the club including our 'Win a Great Northern Tinnie' promotion which will be drawn on 26 June. Ladies Night, featuring selected cocktails and $10 tapas is on every Thursday night between 5:30pm and 8:30pm. Woodfired pizzas are on special for $9 every Friday and Sunday between 3pm and 5pm. WAVES WOMEN'S AFL VICTORY Congratulations to The Waves Women's AFL on their premiership victory in the AFL Wide Bay Takalvans Women’s Premiership grand final between The Waves Eagles and Bay Power at Keith Dunne Oval, Hervey Bay on Saturday, 14 May. The women’s team have been undefeated all year, winning all of their games. Captain Kayla Osborn, who has been captain since the establishment of a women's AFL team in Bundaberg and was injured in Round 7, donned a water carriers shirt for the grand final so she could be on field with her girls at the final siren. Final score 2-1-13 Bay Power 6-2-38 Waves. Sarah Enever played one of her hardest games receiving the grand final 'Best on Ground' medal.
