FACES OF THE WAVES It has been a while since you have caught up with what our staff have been up to in the last 12 months. So here is just a few things you missed. Firstly our school based trainees not only graduated from school, they also completed their Certificate III in Hospitality and have both joined the team with their qualifications. Next time you visit the club, make sure to congratulate Paige and Taidyn on their hard work and dedication.

We celebrated everything (in COVID fashion of course) from State of Origin, Melbourne Cup and the festive season together. New Years Eve was a hit last year with our 'Rock' theme and our staff showed off their rock spirit in their group KISS outfits. In a year that tested the hospitality industry it has united us as a team and formed many great working relationships. We have also gained some new talents to the team since the last time you heard from us in ClubChat. Make sure you come in and say "hi" to our friendly new faces.

BAREFOOT BOWLS Here at The Waves Club Caloundra we offer fun for the whole family. Every Friday evening, starting from 5.30pm, we run barefoot bowls on our two newly renovated synthetic bowling greens. Whether you are young or old, a resident bowler or a first timer, it doesn't matter. We supply all of the equipment and even set you up with a experienced bowler to get you started. If you would like to organise barefoot bowls here with us as your next event, call us on 5491 1961 to book. You pick the date and we can organise the rest. From platters, to bar tabs and table bookings, we assure your next function here with us at The Waves will be a success. All of our functions at the club meet COVID safe requirements.

GAMING @ THE WAVES At The Waves Club Caloundra we offer 69 of the latest and greatest gaming machines, including numerous Lightening Link, Dragon Link and Choy's Kingdom. Our gaming room is open from 10am until late 7 days a week. Whilst in our gaming room, customers can be assured that we are doing everything we can to make their experience not only private, but also safe. Regular sanitising is happening throughout the day and signage is also being used to implement the practicing of social distancing. From 11:30am until1:00pm on Wednesday and Friday we offer our 'Spin & Win' gaming promotion to any financial members playing with their membership cards inserted into one of our gaming machines.
