It's been a while since our last edition and so much has happened. 2020 was a difficult year and we are all still adjusting to our new normal COVID-19 life. We would like to wholeheartedly thank our loyal customers and the community for being with us and supporting us through this difficult time, adapting to ever changing regulations and restrictions. FACES OF THE WAVES
Here is what some of our staff have been up to since you saw us last. Our School Based Trainees graduated! Congratulations to Kassie, Chloe, Ainsley and Vincent for your dedication and hard work in obtaining your Certificate III in Hospitality. We climbed Mt Walsh together! We all worked together as a team to venture up Mt Walsh. All 21 staff that participated successfully reached the top and returned safe and sound (maybe just a little sore and sorry...and scared!).
The Waves raised an incredible $10,609 for Bundaberg and District Meals On Wheels Inc. and the team had the honour of visiting Meals on Wheels to see the impact that the donation has made. Brand new flooring and freezers were able to be installed to help the staff and hundreds of volunteers to continue the terrific work they do in the local community!
