With less than two weeks to go until the Abbeyfield Wānaka Winter Fayre, excitement is building as organisers put the finishing touches on what promises to be a fantastic day for the community.

Recently, the organising team gathered to map out the event, planning where the stalls, entertainment, family activities and food will be located. After months of preparation, everything is coming together.
Every person who comes along on Saturday, 18 July, whether it’s for a coffee, a sausage sizzle, the local stalls or the raffles, will be helping bring that vision closer to reality. If you can’t make it along, but would still like to support the project, donations can be made through the Abbeyfield Wānaka Givealittle page.
The response from the community has been incredible. Businesses have generously donated raffle prizes and food, and local entertainers have stepped forward to help make the day a success. Visitors can also look forward to four fantastic raffles throughout the day, with one drawn every hour, giving everyone plenty of chances to win. While the Winter Fayre is a wonderful opportunity to bring people together, it also supports something much bigger. Abbeyfield Wānaka is working to create a warm, affordable home where older people can
