Artist entries are now open for the Labour Weekend Art Exhibition 2025. The Wānaka Arts Society is pleased to announce the annual Labour Weekend Art Exhibition is returning 23 – 26 October, at the Lake Wānaka Centre. This much-loved exhibition is a highlight on the local arts calendar, drawing visitors from across the Upper Clutha and beyond to view and purchase original works from emerging and established artists. Each year, the exhibition showcases a vibrant mix of painting, printmaking, photography, ceramics, textiles, sculpture and fibre arts, celebrating the creative diversity of our community. The exhibition includes artist demonstrations and
working artists throughout the weekend, offering attendees an opportunity to see creative processes in action and engage with local artists. Artist entries are now open on our website. If you’re a local artist looking for a welcoming exhibition to share your work, connect with art lovers, and grow your audience, this is your opportunity. The exhibition is open to all artists and disciplines. We are also excited to announce a new award specifically for first-time exhibitors.
