Submitted by Rotary Club of Wanaka

for the Otago Southland Rescue Helicopter Trust, purchasing a nerve pain barrier machine for Dunstan Hospital, and providing literacy and numeracy packs for Upper Clutha children starting school.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Wānaka and supported by the Wānaka A&P Foundation, the event recognises top-performing winter feed crops and highlights the district’s rural sector.

“These community services are essential for our remote region, and every bit of support makes a difference,” Deans said.

Local businesses, farmers, and supporters have been generous in contributing prizes for the award night’s fundraising auction. Funds will go toward upgrading night vision goggles
