A celebration of sustainable style, local talent, and self-expression, this event brings Wānaka’s creative community together. “We’re beyond excited to celebrate slow fashion,” says Wastebusters Event Coordinator Abigail Hurford-Abel. “We’re not just a catwalk show – we’re challenging how people think about fashion and their wardrobes.” The show will feature stunning collections from local designers, transforming sustainably sourced materials and pre-loved clothing into wearable art. Among them, Precious Collaborative will debut their everyday collection, using high-end bespoke sales to subsidise affordable slow-fashion pieces. A highlight of the evening, Styled by Wasties,

Wastebusters is set to electrify the fashion scene with its highly anticipated Refashion Show on Thursday, 20 March, 6.30pm at the Lake Wānaka Centre.

Attendees will enjoy live designer interviews, an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the creative process, great music, food, drinks, and a Wasties pop-up shop packed with incredible pre-loved fashion.
